Posting to watch.  Would love to join, but I don't think I could handle another game.

I wouldn't squeal with delight too much.

I don't believe you have forgotten my original mafia skills, not yet anyway (Although for the purposes of trying to glean from meta, it would be best to forget how I played (I think)). I do not believe that I will be as bad as I was before, with the lurking I mean. I am pretty rusty on my Mafia-game though. It has been around 16 months since my last game.

I would enjoy a Spoilspec, if you feel partial to that, but if not, I'll simply watch.

Damn. When I saw that the last post was done by you, I mentally prepared to make an absolutely perfect pun on the meaning of Necropolis, or rather how both you and Org resurrected to take part. Now I'm depressed. Hope you're happy. :(

Ok, closed sign-ups. Working on getting all the PMs written up and flavor done.

Probably won't start until I get home from work this evening, as I have limited access to things I need here at work. But this should be fun. :)

[continued from the OP]

Once that last of you has entered, the doors slam shut behind you and the eyes of the Statue begin to glow.

Stone lips move, and a voice like a grinding mill fills the room.

"You have dared to enter the Tomb of Mah-Sut, and for this you shall pay. This room is sealed, and with it your fates. Only those who prove worthy shall be allowed to leave. And only through sacrifice will one be found worthy."

The statue move a hand, and gestures to the four Orbs that flank it.

"These Orbs shall test you. The Trial shall last 4 Days, and on each day One Orb may be used. You shall confer amongst yourselves, and one of you shall be selected to Activate an Orb. That one shall be Judged."

Your eyes follow to the Orbs, and you noticed a skeleton lying on the ground before one of the Orbs. It lies half-buried in a thick layer of shimmering dust.

"Only one of true Majesty will be allowed to pass into the Tomb."

"The Trials have begun! Begin your deliberations."

The statue resumes its original stance, and the eyes dim. Only a faint glimmer of light can be seen within them.

The game has Started! Day one will go until ~5pm Pacific Friday

An axe-wielding penguin called Org,
laconic, confusing and borg,
      is policy lynched,
      by poetry pinched.
Do a limerick or end up in the morgue!

Heh, couldn't resist, seeing Org again. Actual question for you: I don't recall if you've played Supernaturals before - have you? what do you think of the setup in general and this bastard in particular?

IronyOwl: what do you make of the skeleton lying by one of the Orbs?

Dariush: how do you think there being only four days/orbs will affect the game flow?

Jim: what do you make of the "only one of true Majesty will be allowed to pass into the Tomb"?

Org: If you had to choose, would you pick Guard or Monster Hunter? Why?

Bookthras: Which two people in this game would you want on your side as Town? Scum? Why?

Deathsword: I don't believe I've played a game with you before. Have you read the previous Supernatural games? If so, what have you learned from them?

Oh come on, I worked on the first post only to have it stolen by Booky.
I think I played in the first one, Supernatural Mafia that is. I've played a few bastards but I'm of the opinion that I probably had little idea of what was going on, although that seemed like it was the case for any sort of game I used to partake in.

Setup, not really sure. Seems, emphasis on SEEMS, to be just a regular mafia so far, not too sure on how bastardy yet. I think we'll see more after the first day, to be honest.

Okay, let's see. Tiruin, I don't recall having played a game with you. What do you think of the text Mephansteras has posted in the Day-start?

Fake-Edit: And Orangebottle, of course. Can't seem to be able to post.
Orange, that seems a little role-fishy.

EBWOP: Derr.

How is it rolefishing? I'm asking you which of two precise roles you would prefer to have. Not if you actually have those roles.

Welp, standard Bastard flailings go.

Examine one of the orbs.

Also, limericks yay. :))

Bookthras:
IronyOwl: what do you make of the skeleton lying by one of the Orbs?
Before you mentioned it, I assumed it was just your standard TOUCH THIS AND DIE warning. Now I'm curious about the fact that there's only one of them and that it's covered in "shimmering" dust.

Toaster, what effects do you think lynching someone will have?

Org, who here would be your preferred scumbuddies? Masonbuddies? Who here would you most want to have a power role, and would that change depending on whether you could be certain of their alignment or not?

Jim, how vital do you think figuring out the bastard aspect of this game will be, relative to the normal mafia aspect?

My bad. I haven't played in a while.
Monster Hunter then. Guard can be really hit or miss, or it is when I play it. Monster hunter would pack some punch.

@Irony: Not too sure I have any preferred buddies at all, it has been pretty long and I'm not too sure how everyone's game has changed. And for power role, I guess it wouldn't matter unless I knew their alignment. Probably myself, as I would be sure of my own alignment (even if this is a bastard).
