((You don't get to choose your Classpects. Sorry, this isn't a freeform RP or a normal SBURB RP. Update with proper maps tomorrow. I said this yesterday though.))

Part bump, part just posting this for the sake of posting this.

New, not-crappy sprite for Achim!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

[A Sprite! And it isn't even crappy!

Thanks]

Which brings the question of why pesterchum refuses to open anymore. I didn't even do anything!

Oh, I have the same exact problem. You need to create an entirely new account to fix that shit.

Well, fitting like fitting like in the bluh bluh hard to explain. I'd think you'd know what role I was suggesting, seeing as I told you at one point for the other RPG we GMed at different points in time.

EDIT: MOAR SPRITES!

There you are, Blade Master. The sprite you never asked for!

Sorry to double post, but Dermonster, could you give me a bit more detailed description of how Sirius looks? I'd like to make him a sprite, but I can't make a very good one by your current description of him.

Anything specific you need to know?

His expression should be one of 'What the fuck am I looking at' deadpan.

His hair is some sort of green/brown as much sense as that makes.

Nigh-permanent bedhead.

I suppose he has a black shirt with an image of the galaxy on it.

Must... update... catatonic... post-flash recovery/study mode...

Also I didn't think my sprites were that crappy. Lazy, yes.

Okay, Shoes' Achim is actually way better, at least.

Well, I'm partly just making these out of boredom. We can use either version, or both, but the point is that some characters don't have sprites yet, and I can remedy that.

You know what, just contact me on Pesterchum and you can tell me what to do directly. I can show you the work I'll have done, and you can tell me what to improve, and yeah. That's how it'll happen. So hedgehog.

I would do so if my computer didn't immediately close Pesterchum as soon as I click on the icon. Literally a second after it shows up in the task manager, it disappears.

It was working fine earlier why

Well, either you can try to fix it, we could do this through PMs, we could continuously spam this thread, or we could find some other way of doing it.

Which one strikes your fancy?

Best course of action right now is probably to re-install.

Uh, I didn't mean to deprecate your sprites, I was actually referring to the one I did myself early in this thread.

PS: I don't know. Just mess around with it a little bit and see what it does, if anything.
DD: Damn, since when do computer games need that much corporeal acticity?

You know, I brought this "temporarily" out of hiatus to confirm whether or not I was actually fit to run it. But I'm doing the same exact things now I did before.

To be honest, I'm not totally sure SBURB is a setting I'm even comfortable with. Regardless of the variation present in this game. It's not my setting, it's huge and expansive, it's largely up to interpretation and it's enormously player-driven. Maybe more than was even ideal. On top of that, I'm always constantly trending toward higher and higher levels of media inundation from the start of a game to an end (we've had, what? Three flashes in a few turns in my other game?) I seriously do not see a way around this. I'll start doing maps and think "Oh, consistency! Visual representation! I NEED this!" I'll make a panel and say, "Wow, this doesn't look good but maybe I'd be less bored if I made a million for every major event!" I'll make a Flash and say, "Wow, that took a long time but look at all this praise I'm getting! So worth it. I'll do another."

Ultimately all serve only to take things out of the players' hands and turn this back into one of Freeformschooler's Stories where I'm trying to BEDAZZLE the, what, 6-8 readers max like I always end up doing. Sorry for the rant, I'm just a bit ambivalent about this right now. Also I haven't slept in a few days.

I'm beginning to think the reason BMM42 is such a better GM is because he doesn't burn time he doesn't have on bedazzling and instead provides a consistently solid yet player-driven game experience.
