So, who wants to make this the first in a series of audio-logs contributed by various players, summing up the Battlefailed saga, in our own, notoriously unreliable, but reliably irreverent, words?  I'd definitely be willing to contribute.

I hope my actual voice is now your headcanon voice for Andreus.

Absolutely is.  Thanks for that.

I could provide an actual voice recording of that if you so desired :P

That would be interesting. Maybe we could get each overseer to do a voice recording of their turn?

Anyway yeah, I like the idea (that I had first! :P). Do a succession fort in a totally different way. That was kind of my goal with my turn in Hellcannon, streaming it and stuff, but that didn't work out so well due to crappy internet making the video choppy. Let's round up the previous overseers and get this going.

Should I record the Horrofailed prologue then?

EDIT: Catalyst, if you want your turn now, please inform me.

Nice to know my little 'thing' has made this go in a direction everyone's agreeing with. :P
I'll be honest, I thought that people would say it was dumb. I've had lot's of things like that, it's like I have good intuition, but it hates me.

I finally finished... Every page of the last three threads, finally read through, and all caught up on this one. I don't know what to say about these forts, other than you all seem to be stark raving mad. I whole-heartedly approve. I didn't know these were still going, either. That means I might actually get to be a tiny part of the history of these forts! I'd like to request a dorfage.

Andreus is now DF's Doctor Who. Absolutely headcanon.

I'm sure you did not just called the Doctor "Doctor Who".

This is a granite warning marker. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of dwarves in granite. The dwarves are screaming.

On the item is an inscription in granite. It is written in many languages. The inscription reads:

THIS PLACE IS A MESSAGE, AND PART OF A SSTEM OF MESSAGES. PAY ATTENTION TO IT!

SENDING THIS MESSAGE WAS IMPORTANT TO US. WE CONSIDERED OURSELVES TO BE A POWERFUL CULTURE.

THIS PLACE IS NOT A PLACE OF HONOUR. NO HIGHLY ESTEEMED DEED IS COMMEMORATED HERE. NOTHING VALUED IS HERE.

WHAT IS HERE IS DANGEROUS AND REPULSIVE TO US. THIS MESSAGE IS A WARNING ABOUT DANGER.

THE DANGER IS IN A PARTICULAR LOCATION. IT INCREASES TOWARDS A CENTER. THE CENTER IS HERE, OF A PARTICULAR SIZE AND SHAPE, AND BELOW US.

THE DANGER IS STILL PRESENT IN YOUR TIME, AS IT WAS IN OURS.

THE DANGER IS TO THE BODY, AND IT CAN KILL.

THE FORM OF THE DANGER IS MULTITUDINOUS.

THE DANGER IS UNLEASHED ONLY IF YOU SUBSTANTIALLY DISTURB THIS PLACE PHYSICALLY. THIS PLACE IS BEST SHUNNED AND LEFT UNINHABITED.

DO NOT DESTROY THIS MARKER. THIS MARKING SYSTEM HAS BEEN DESIGNED TO LAST 10,000 YEARS. IF THE MARKER IS DIFFICULT TO READ, ADD NEW MARKERS IN LONGER-LASTING MATERIALS IN LANGUAGES THAT YOU SPEAK.
