Kadzar and Sir Gadarin drop down into the chest room and glare at the chests as if they had been caught on your turf. The chests just stare back blankly.

Go get a mage and have him cast detect magic on the chests and room. If he says there's some kind of magic in there, don't go in. If not, tap the chests with the end of my pole.

Having thus deduced the trick behind the chests, you open up the bronze one.

Who wants a free bone golem!?

The skeleton that rises out of the chest is at least seven feet tall, and wields two flashing scimitars. It's face, being a skull, is pretty damn cheery, but nothing friendly exists in the way that it swings its two blades.
