Oh my god, we're alive! And not trapped!
Ahem, I mean:
I return to the archway, and let someone else go first this time.

Sweet. Follow Vorthon at a safe distance, and search for traps on the floor and walls. Ignore the ceiling for now, let someone else do that. :P

((You got lucky. It's only a matter of time in this hell hole...))
Check the pit if there's any treasure in there and then if I can't see anything, scout out the new hallway for traps with my pole.

I am extremely :I about the spoiler too, FYI. -50 DKP to Gryffindor.

Can you edit your post and spoiler it for those who haven't had it spoiled yet? Also, if you already know the dungeon, where the traps are, and how to bypass them, it'd probably make this a good bit less FUN for those of us who don't. Are you sure you want to join?

Kazard looks pretty cool. He could only be better if he had a headband or a bandanna or scarf or something like that in a brighter colour. Think you can pull it off?

EDIT: I was trying to make him muted and rogue-like, but if a bright headband you want, a bright headband you get.

Yeah, I've spoilered it. Still, didn't think it was that much of a spoiler though.

Name: Kadzar III (Son of Kadzar, Twin of Kadzar II)
Gender: Male
Class: Battlechef (Fighter)

Weapons: Chef's Knife, Saucepan Lid Shield
Armor: Iron Plate Apron, Iron Chef Hat
Items: Saucepan, Wooden Spoon, Sauce Ingredients, Cord of Firewood, Flint and Steel, Torches

Kadzar III approaches anyone who will respond to him. "Have you seen my twin brother? He came here to take our father's place in this dungeon, and now I've come to take his place. Where is he, and my father for that matter?"

I proceed cautiously down the newly-revealed corridor.

You proceed down the newly-revealed corridor. Suddenly you feel a knee-wrenching tug and find yourself in a completely different room! Well, if you were standing on the red path that is. Otherwise you'd end up back at the entrance to the corridor, but a tad too silly, so let's skip that, shall we? Anyways, where was I? Ah right, the room.

This new room is twenty feet by ten feet, and is comprised out of rough masonry blocks. The only means of exit is a crawlway in the south-eastern part of the room. Obviously no archway exists to take you back to the fresco corridor. Only one interesting feature exists in this room.

Quote
A broken, 8-foot-tall statue of a four-armed gargoyle squats here, alone and in the dark. Its three remaining hands appear as if in positions of supplication, or need.

Obviously one of the arms has been broken off sometime ago, and is currently lying at the base of the statue. Besides a general feeling of malevolence the statue is unremarkable. Well, unremarkable for an eight-foot-tall, four-armed gargoyle statue.

Follow Vorthon at a safe distance, and search for traps on the floor and walls. Ignore the ceiling for now, let someone else do that. :P

Seeing Nambul wrenched away and assuming that he's been teleported somewhere, you rush in to follow him.

[19 + 5] As far as you can tell, the room is not trapped at all.

Check the pit if there's any treasure in there and then if I can't see anything, scout out the new hallway for traps with my pole.

The pit is empty and treasureless, so you follow Hans and Nambul.

[16 + 5] In your expert opinion, the statue room has no traps in it.

Kadzar III approaches anyone who will respond to him. "Have you seen my twin brother? He came here to take our father's place in this dungeon, and now I've come to take his place. Where is he, and my father for that matter?"

Midna, Urist, Gramjir and the GNHS all sigh and tell Kadzar III what happened to his sibling/father.

I chew some of the food I'm carrying into a paste, and use mage hand to stick the resulting goo onto the arm stump on the statue, then try to use another mage hand spell to stick the arm back on.

I defiantly enter the new room and proceed to the south-east corner to inspect the crawlway.

I cast Detect Magic on the statue.

But you aren't at the statue The good doctor walks through the archway and casts detect magic on the statue.

[8] Yep, it's magical alright.

I chew some of the food I'm carrying into a paste, and use mage hand to stick the resulting goo onto the arm stump on the statue, then try to use another mage hand spell to stick the arm back on.

[3] Your attempts to re-attach the arm using food-based adhesives deliciously fails.

I defiantly enter the new room and proceed to the south-east corner to inspect the crawlway.

[7] The crawlway seems to turn towards the east after a bit, but otherwise your keen chef senses detect nothing.
