Aegnor looked at Kael's feet, and soundlessly shook his head. He couldn't deal with the Tetanus, and god's knew that his alchemy supplies were more than empty.. The best he could do would to support Kael when symptoms set in. "Let us hurry faster, we need to get to a doctor, but first, Maria."

Continue though the house.

((Tetanus. Well that's new. Haven't actually caught that in any game I've played.

...

I know I should be annoyed or something, but I'm just a bit too tired for that right now so...

On that note, I know what spell I'm getting next.))

Kael looks at his wounds, sighs in annoyance and shakes his head.

"Great. Just great. That's all I need."

Heal myself with my magic and resume the search for Maria.

Also continue through the house, but sneaking stealthily ahead of the group, searching. But not too far ahead...

((Fastest tetanus ever. And Fleur should get her caltrops sterilized when her companions can roll [1]s.))

"Rusty metal?" Mordekhai asks as he stands up - slowly, due to his armor - and prepares to leave.

Forward! Drag slow teammates along if needed so we don't end up separated.

((To be fair, it's more so that this doesn't happen on the road when you are unlikely to find any kind of sanitary materials or anything.  (Also so I don't forget.)  The whole point of bringing the rusty caltrops was so that even if they run away, they need to get medical attention... where Fleur works.  You get why Fleur intentionally brings rusty unsterilized caltrops?))

Actually, I may 'ave something for that.  Attendez un moment, s'il vous plait."  Fleur says looking through her bag of supplies.  You suddenly remember you have a medical professional with you, granted she's not in the hospital but this might be the break you were looking for.

((I fully understood the value of using underhanded tactics. As mentioned before, the problem is she should be unreasonably savvy and remember her teammates could roll all over the caltrops due to strange and unforeseen circumstances called bad dice rolls.))

Zealots and Demons, The Fall of a God, Turn 100: THE GREAT SAFARI!

Zealots and Demons, The Fall of a God, Turn 100:  THE GREAT SAFARI!

Quote from: Fleur
Find the right potion

[6]  You hear the Draconian muttering curses under her breath.  "I seem to 'ave misplaced the item I am looking for.  I will be able to take care of it later, if you should desire."

Quote from: Tiruin
Commit first aid onto Kael! Wherein first aid equals fully cleansing and mopping up wounds, even if alcohol use need be!

[4] [1+6=7 healed]  You hope to come across something in the kit able to deal with Tetanus, unfortunately the kit seems to be based around trauma rather than disease prevention or treatment.  All the same however, you patch up Kael and continue on your way, the first aid kit expended

Quote from: Ochita
Continue though the house.

[6] You burst into the next room, which is remarkably empty.  There is a staircase which leads to the six room upstairs but there is one more room down here as well.  All of them can be accessed from this room.  Unbidden you seem to remember something about closing doors that Sareesa told you but it seems unimportant at the moment.  All the doors are closed and in the entrance way there is nothing immediately spectacular, some end tables with plants on them, other decorative pieces.  Thinking back on the past rooms it doesn't match any of them though, this seems almost modern, much more familiar to you.  You head up into the hallway, you try to hear through the doors, but none of them seem to even be occupied on the other side.  You head back downstairs, you're just about to announce the room clear of everything when the lower door bursts open and a Naga Pirate woman runs out followed by three Rifle Wielding Wood Hunters, complete with Khakis and safari hats.  You sort of just stand there, not certain if you're happy you have somebody who might fight with you, the Naga, or that the hunters might direct their fire at somebody unaffiliated with you.

Quote from: Zako
Heal myself with my magic and resume the search for Maria.

[4] [4 healed]  You heal yourself of all the remaining nicks and scratches that haven't been treated yet.  You then enter the same entranceway hall type place.  [3](Kael)vs.[1](Naga)  The Naga tries to run past you, most likely to exit the house but you manage to stop her.

Quote from: lawastooshort
Also continue through the house, but sneaking stealthily ahead of the group, searching. But not too far ahead...

[3] You sneak inside the room behind Kael.  Nobody seems to have noticed you... or really care about the group yet.

Quote from: Caellath
Forward! Drag slow teammates along if needed so we don't end up separated.

[2]  You stop at the door right behind Kael, he seems to be blocking some Naga from leaving.  You mark this down mentally as the first time you've ever even seen a Naga.

Neutral:
Naga Poison Mage:  [5]  The Naga spits some kind of quickly evaporating toxic fluid onto the ground by the wooden creatures.  Though you wouldn't suspect them to be susceptible to poison, clearly whatever pirates or other living things the dolls took control of are, as they begin to cough.  The purple poison fog around them quickly dissipates, but it's clear they are still poisoned
8/20 Health
14/20 Mana
Status:  None

Enemies:
Wooden Hunter 1: [2]  The Hunter takes a long time to recover from his coughing fit
Health:  17/25
Fatigue:  10/10
Status:  Poisoned, taking 8 damage per turn until dead.

Wooden Hunter 2: [4] [5 damage]  The hunter manages to shoot at the Naga, hitting her in the lower snake-like half.
Health:  17/25
Fatigue:  10/10
Status:  Poisoned, taking 8 damage per turn until dead.

Wooden Hunter 3: [3] [4/2=2 damage]  This hunter barely manages to hit the Naga, however you see him kneel down and being to take aim for his next shot.
Health:  17/25
Fatigue:  10/10
Status:  Poisoned, taking 8 damage per turn until dead.

((Neutrals are creatures/people designed to be able to fight, but have no inclination to fight the party.  In this case since the enemy is the same you get to see her right away since it's presumed you will fight the Wooden Hunters.  Normally they won't be revealed right away.  Like I'm not going to list the number of Neutral Guards around you unless you look around, which is a free action in most cases.))

((Well, hmm. Pirate's as good as any for getting information, so...))

Aegnor gazed at the naga, then the wooden soldiers, then back at the naga. Even if he didn't like it, he'd have to save her, judging by the bleeding she's having right now, along with the fact that shes getting shot at. Grabbing the railing with one hand, he raised the other, to cast a holy shield.

Holy shield the party! Include the naga if possible too.

((Wow. Poison magic is pretty kickass. Ouch. Maybe I should have been a mage or something?))

Attack wooden hunter 3 and disrupt his aim if at all possible.

((Given how I didn't notice and/or probably didn't hear the commotion...))

Akari stayed behind and went on a cursory thought-- looking over the dining room and the altar it presented-- tracing a hand in the air to 'feel' the altar's surface. This place seemed cursed and blessed at the same time. She remembered (vaguely) a tradition practiced in her lands, of leaving the host if a guest in their home a gift.

...Given how this area was in its present state, she wondered if Aegnor invoked a tutelary deity. A few pieces from the room wouldn't...mind being carried for a better use, right?
Sorry for what happened here.
Get a few pieces of cutlery and enchant them for all-purpose portable formalities. Eating on the road!

Turning around at the sound of a minor explosion, she strode off towards Kael and the rest. Before she could view any of the enemies or other entities faced, she approached Mordekhai (or anyone not in direct combat with the current enemies):

"What's going on?"

((I don't know, seeing as how two gunshots went off indoors, I'm pretty sure you could hear that.  Also you were in the Brothel's Parlor not the Dining Room anymore.))

((I don't want to advance into a possible poison cloud...))

"Bother, more of these creatures. Riflemen... things! Lay down your weapons and you will not be destroyed!"

Rush forward and (face-)thrust the one who looks nearest to firing.

Stay back and attack anyone who approaches Aegnor.

((I wrote quickly-disappateing in order to let everyone know the poison cloud wouldn't be an effect beyond the turn it was cast.  Sorry if that was unclear, but I didn't want another thing like what happened with the caltrops and Kael.  Caltrops would work better with more ranged party members I contend, but since we're running melee heavy (two tanks, and a backstabber) they really were a bad idea on my part.  We really needed a gunslinger to be mixed in with them in order to make this more effective but there's nothing I can do about that now.  Anyhow sorry if that was unclear, but I just thought I'd inform you getting up close and personal is fine, you won't get poisoned.))
