It seems that our superpowers are a little more densely packed than I expected.  We could probably afford to get one or two set up on the American continent if anyone else wants to jump in.
America always gets bombed in all out world wars. You can just declare the entire region to be nuclearly contaminated, probably after an US vs China/... nuclear war
Hey hey hey, don't get all nuclear on us, we're democratic! Or, at least, they are. I'm not.
Europe got 2 world wars already, you can have the third one.
Deal. As long as I win.
If by winning you mean complete destruction of the enemy. Good. (That's what MAD is for anyway).

Also, I'm in. Character soon or something. Probably joining on the side of either BHUNM or Denesov
That's exactly what I meant. Also, fine, I didn't want you anyway.

Tentative map, assuming we're going with the US having been nuked.

Is that close enough to what you guys wanted?

I adore it. I have loads of land to abuse, and even some random little countries thrown in. I'm fine with that. :)

Given what we have for backstory, I would suggest giving BHUNM a border with the RFR, and a slight expansion for the republic of Denesov. I don't like the look of the whole brown thing over America. It looks better if you just put detonation markers or something. Anyway, since you almost never have a nuclear strike without counterstrike, It would be logical if there would also be contamination in Europe/ Russia/ China (Maybe even Australia). It would explain why China and Europe are no longer of importance.

Oh yeah, that's a plan. Give us one little territory to scrap over.

No need to worry about the lesser countries being blank just yet, I'll add in a few different types of land before we get started.  This was mainly just to check if people were happy with their borders.

Sorta interested in making a country, if that is still open, not sure If i will make a character though, but if i do it will be after bed

Name: The Republic of Forward-Thinking Peoples
Capital: Brisbane
Form of government: Meritocracy/Democracy (Specialist governors for fields are elected by their merit in their field, they then appoint their own staff, positions only taken by people actually wanting to contribute as the pay is less than they could be making otherwise.)
Speciality: Science
State view on religion/s: Tolerated, but harassing people in a public space or their own private land is a punishable offence, and trying to suggest Intelligent Design is likely to earn you directions to the nearest psychiatrist.
Main deficit: Food/Manpower/Oil: Manpower,The high level of education and emphasis on science leaves Very few people willing to get their hands dirty in unskilled and/or physical jobs

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

The year is 2084.  The growth of technology and the sciences has been slowed to a halt due to a seemingly perpetual war.  You have recently been chosen to join an unknown number of ruling politicians in one of Earth's last three remaining superpowers.  You may pursue your own goals for the good of the world, your nation, or yourself.

We're going to need a minimum of one player per nation, but more people are always welcome.  I'll simulate a few NPC politicians to try and keep things equal if necessary.  The first three players to sign up can pick a few details about their nation.

Ahum

The first three* players to sign up can pick a few details about their nation.

*That's right, 3. Not four, not five, and certainly not six.

Unless I'm seriously misreading things, it means that all country spots were already taken by the Bdthemag, Spaghetti7 and Micelus.

Heh, it's all good people.  Things can be easily changed to fit everyone in.

wolfchild: There's little to no point in having a country with nobody playing there.  I'd be happy to add it in if you'd like to play a character though :)
mcclay: No worries, but I'll need the details asap.  I wanna get this running tonight if possible.
ansontan2000: Fine by me, but would you mind editing the character sheet out of your post and PMing it to me instead?
10ebbor10: It seems that things have settled at one player per superpower.  Would you like to create one for yourself or still coplay BHUNM?  I'm okay with it either way.

I think we'll call that the cap on countries though.  If anyone else wants to play, make a character for an existing nation.
