you can however call it a previously undisclosed contingency plan in which case you will have already specified that i should reset the game to the previous turn in the event of your spectacularly painful demise and we can continue the game tomorrow.

well you did just horribly kill them... its only fair they try to return the favor, besides if the kill you horribly you'll be even and then you can use the last GM slavery action to resurrect yourself.
