(ACTION) Move to the bell, buy a FOR upgrade, (a AGG upgrade as well if no one objects), grab an empty treasure chest, and attempt to trade it for an item, preferably the controller.

The healing move was fun, but it seemed to drain REGIS's mana reserves. No matter. It was more efficient to do things this way. After the magick subsided, the golem happily turned to the Doorman.

"HMMM. ONE ITEM FOR ONE ITEM? I HAVE SOMETHING TO TRADE, BUT I'LL BE RIGHT BACK."

With that, he left momentarily. First, Regis headed over to Ding.

"IF NO ONE OBJECTS, I'D LIKE TO UPGRADE MY DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO INCREASE ANOTHER STAT, BUT THAT'S ONLY IF WE HAVE TONES AFTER EVERYONE MAKES A PURCHASE."

After making his purchase, REGIS grabs on of the empty treasure chests lying about and beings it back to the Doorman.

"WILL THIS BE SUITABLE FOR A TRADE, GOOD SIR?"

To Sadies surprise, being in the Grim Chest was not unlike a sensation of floating in the sea-timeless, peaceful, forever. She supposed it might just be her minds way, or perhaps the Grim Chests method of handling an indefinite amount of time. She could wait here forever, if need be.

Until she saw Aidan again, across the gulf of stars and time that had so long separated them.

For the moment, that gap had widened-two souls orbiting away on their own paths through the Black. But, Love was a force much like gravity...and if their Love was true, it would always bring them together again.

The young Merwoman warmed herself with these thoughts and feelings, and let herself be drawn swiftly forward and upward. The sooner she might catch sight of him, once again. When their relative orbits may once again coincide with one another. When their perpetual motion came to a relative stop.

You know it's true-we all float on, anyway. Sadie floated on as well.

Alone...
Again...          Alone...
Never...          Say...          Alone...
Please...                    Trust...               Alone...

      Peace...                But...                                  Alone...
Sadie
                                       Sadie
Sadie... Coldshoal...

What have I been doing?

It was as if in slow motion, Aidan's world came together in bits and pieces. The entropy of his mind, dispelled by that simple act.

The allure of the sea, the call of the ocean. The sweet smell of brine and seawater. The gentle caress of tide-borne zephyrs, and the sonorous tone of peace and serenity.

A memory, of idylls sung; the havens of the severed lines, of truth and lies and sundered ties, and a glimpse of hope through any sorrow.

Gone.

From an outsider's eye, it seemed Aidan was staring in deep contemplation as the chest closed - it was hard to keep yourself from showing any emotion at that fact. And harder yet to show any in front of comrades such as these.

The Elf could only put down a mental note as he regained his composure to address the rest of his find. They didn't seem to notice, or care at the moment - much was to still be done, and she wasn't gone forever, right?

[Action]Slowly, and with his shotgun constantly pointed at the creature, Dell edged around the critter and headed toward undiscovered territory.

"Dang nabbit, what did I just walk into." Dell said to himself, watching carefully for signs of aggression. "Easy now, I don't want any trouble..."

(I really need to remember how compass directions work, that is totally not where I meant to go.)

(ACTION) Eat a Spirer fruit and some paste from the Cube, buy a FOR upgrade, and open the "Bell of Heroes" menu.

(a AGG upgrade as well if no one objects).

Spoiler: OBJECTION! (click to show/hide)
: "Watching that was pretty funny. Thank you very much for the healing. Also, REGIS, let us people who are not made of metal also get some bonuses." he said after some time chuckling. Watching someone being used to ring a bell and being shaken around that way was actually amusing in a way, aside from being very useful.

: "I feel like a RPG character."

(ACTION) Barter a tome and a bow for the iron ore and the crate.

"What an odd way of bartering... but I like it still! Hmm, I have not a third item, so would a tome and a bow, be suitable trade for the ore and the chest? I didn't really want the yellow thing anyway, just tried to round out the costs..."

"Water! Water! I've found a lake everyone!"

(ACTION) Head over to the lake and dig for water! If I find any, DRINK UP!

: "Ahah! Water! Oh, so thirsty. Let me join you."

((OOC: Note, you guys probably still need to 'revive' the lake. I'm guessing either enough attacks/Uniq assisted digging at the point where the water flows will let that happen.))

((Complementary music which I thought would share [For Dwarmin] ))

: "Ahah! Water! Oh, so thirsty. Let me join you."

Aidan spun around to address Queen, realizing his mistake in haste. "Queen! Don't! I mean- meant that the lake is under the soil, or something akin to that...I can feel the water over yonder." the Elf said as he pointed at the single point where he felt the source of life came from.

Water...

You always talked about water. The Sea and its everlasting expanse of azure hues. The life that resided within, shrouded by the thin veil of water, blinding us from the beauty of the depths. The horrors of land, I thought, only were kept to their own realm - until you told me of your presence.

Our war- your war, perhaps. Something which may not be reconciled in truth, for even if I live, I am but a bard. Even if I carry this knowledge, it may not be enough for our leaders. But...still.

I could've...done something, but I was too speechless and too focused on trivial matters.

You reminded me that there was something worth fighting for.

Aidan sighed as the clarity resurfaced thoughts he wished he had forgotten.

"I mean that we have to revive the lake, Queen. Forgive me for my wording."

"I mean that we have to revive the lake, Queen. Forgive me for my wording. I will try to negotiate with the Doorman."

: "O-oh... well... I may try. In the simplest manner.

"NIKOLAI... WHY ARE YOU POINTING AT ME LIKE THAT? IT'S ODD."

: "Oh, yes. OBJECTION!!!" he shouted in an obvious joke, striking a Phoenix Wright pose and pointing at REGIS. "This is just an over-the-top way of showing I don't agree to your AGG upgrade, since we could use those tones to boost the weaker members of the party."

: "Am going to agree with Nikolai. Sorry, REGIS, but those tones would be better spent on Fortitude or other statistics. What I've seen of it, lifting power means more tones, more tones means more fighting power." Queen looked back at Aidan. She'd seen the events play out but decided not to interfere. Losing a loved one so suddenly... she knew the feeling. "And, to maximize use, less-fortituous combatants first. Less Fortitude, less tones to upgrade, greater output for input."

"AH... I SEE YOUR MANNER OF THINKING, WHICH IS WHY I WANTED THE FORTITUDE UPGRADE FIRST ANYWAY. THE AGG UPGRADE WAS A COMPLETELY OPTIONAL SUGGESTION MEANT ONLY IF WE HAD A SURPLUS OF TONES AFTER EVERYONE HAD MADE THEIR DESIRED PURCHASES. IN ALL HONESTY, I WANTED TO CHOOSE ANOTHER UPGRADE FROM THE LIST BECAUSE I REMEMBER THAT WHEN YOU RECEIVED YOUR SECOND STAT BOOST, QUEEN, YOU UNLOCKED NEW ABILITIES FOR PURCHASE. MY END GOAL IS TO FIND THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY TO PROTECT THE PARTY, AND I DESIRED TO SEE IF THE NEW ABILITIES THAT UNLOCKED, IF ANY, COULD BRING ME CLOSER TO THAT GOAL. IF THERE ARE ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF TIMES WE CAN UPGRADE OUR STATISTICS, UPGRADING SOMETHING SUCH AS NIMBLENESS WOULD BE A WASTE ON A BRUISER SUCH AS MYSELF."

"AND I STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR POINTING AND SHOUTING, NIKOLAI."

: "Right, not against your upgrades, but believe we must consider alternate uses. For example..."

Aidan sighed as the clarity resurfaced thoughts he wished he had forgotten.

: "Aidan. I hate to interrupt, but I must remind that you are one of the most important members momentarily. Can lead us to water and keep us healthy. If you would take either two MP upgrades, one MP and one HP upgrade or one MP and one FOR upgrade, would be maximizing efficiency and gaining new abilities to support the team."
