The  vampire Peasant Meng Bist”ktun and the  vampire Armorer Šzum Sarveshomet have married.  Congratulations!
They have decided to forego any formal celebrations.

The second line is because the kids always start parties at every meeting hall or statue garden that gets opened, preventing couples from celebrating.

Anyways, I caught and killed the human vampire lawgiver in a "well of unlife", where a repeating spear spilled his cursed blood into the drinking water. Currently only 2 out of 70 dwarves are not yet vampires. I intend to see how this fort plays out in the long run, and maybe post a few interesting things like above.

Apparently lovers aren't hindered by vampirism, but I doubt I'll see any children.

Time to stop food production.

Can vamps drink sleeping animal blood? 

How would one go about knocking out an animal? 

Can you completely control these vampires?

Can you mod blood to be booze so the vamps don't get the alcohol deficiency problem?

I don't plan on taking any special actions to counter any alleged alcohol bugs, I want to see how this happens.

Spring arrives, and I murder the elf diplomat again. They seem oblivious. All food and booze has been disposed of in the volcano to help the FPS. I'm only growing plants for cloth now.

Hey it will be just like in that movie where the vampires all kill themselves in the end.

The vampire military should be a formidable force until the booze slowdown effects begin. You could always have a separate migrant training program where you get them ready to replace the military when they get too slow, even if it corrupts the purity of the fort.

Try to see if you can make enemies unconcious and have them feed off them. FB gases or evil rain would be ideal for automatization.

Yeah that will be FUN. You'll be in the middle of a epic battle against goblins, one of your dwarves will knock someone out, and then the entire fort will run out to grab a drink. Like the sock problem, but for vampires. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised of they just assualt the traders the moment they enter the map if thirst is a problem.
