I'm working to make this server a good place for people who want to be all creative in building, not just super automation spam. In fact in the next few weeks I'll be looking for people to help me build out the spawn town if anyone is interested.

I would volunteer, but my building creativity and skill stops at cubes. If I really go all out, I can make a cuboid.

I'm working to make this server a good place for people who want to be all creative in building, not just super automation spam. In fact in the next few weeks I'll be looking for people to help me build out the spawn town if anyone is interested.

That's a great help to start a sense of stylistic continuity, building the spawn town before people have the chance to mess up the building area with purely functional and/or aesthetically questionable buildings/homes, which end up being in the way more often than not.
I'd like to help too.

Wow, didn't expect that many responses. I'll be sure to note everyone down who is interested. As I said, it may be a week or two before I open the server for alpha testing or even building, and building will be only in the spawn town for now. We'll need things like a newbie spawn area, wall of rules probably, some basic tutorials and then plots where people can start out and a central store or two. I do have a store system in now. It allows chest shops, sign shops, area shops and does item displays.

Sounds like it's gonna be a big server. But where'll you get the players from?

Eh, it'll be as big as it becomes. I'm building it to be fun no matter what size it is, but it will have its own website and I'll likely advertise it once I feel its ready. I don't much care if it becomes a big thing, I'm just making the server I want to play on and hoping it will be fun for others too. Thats all I usually do.

The server I'm building is using a MCPC platform which means it can run bukkit plugins and forge mods at the same time.
