so, it appears that the seaming was regenned somehow, the bedrock spawn room is still there with the escape, but I can't find the quarry and various buildings are in different locations

I've encountered a rather... unusual bug.

I have no sound from the buttons on the menu, nor from opening chests or doors. I've been playing for about 20 minutes, so it's not MultiMC's weird sound bug, and restarting MC didn't fix it.
I hate to ask, but is your sound muted or turned down, either in the OS or in minecraft?
Neither. I can hear mosquitoes, rain etc., just not doors and chests (possibly more that I haven't encountered yet)
I've no idea what to tell you then. Does sound work with a vanilla instance with no mods? Perhaps try creating a new instance and reinstalling?

Woke up, server was down. Took the opportunity to update 4 mods.

Buildcraft is up to 3.4.2
Cogs is at 0.1.3
Nether Ores 2.0.4
Railcraft 6.15.1.0

Server is back up. Redownload the client from the link in the OP.

Looks like the server is down and will not get up on its own.

Does he know of a way to edit a player's position? Because the way we've fixed that before is just to delete the player's data file. By know everyone knows not to fly around near the void with those boots on. If you keep running into avoidable bugs, I am not going to take extraordinary measures to get your stuff back.

I deny any claim that it relates to me and boots,  partly due to the fact I don't have any boots right now.

Nope. By the way, I think I caused the server crash, namely by placing a turtle with a corrupt tool ID. Dunno how that happened.

EDIT: Wait, no. Not my fault.

Possibly. What was the turtle supposed to be?
