To grow silverwoods, did you try using the magic thaumcraft hoe that instantly grows stuff? I think it works on silverwoods.

Yep. It chimes like it works but the sapling never grows.

I follow the instructions, but it just launches vanilla minecraft. If i right-click and click "rebuild jar" than it launches the modded version (version and mod count match), but I get this error:

config issue with ars magica earth essence and the thermal expantion MJ reader,  known issue and will be fixed soon?

bit strange that only you are getting it though... and yes, you need to right click and do rebuild jar.

The config issue is known and will be fixed, but shouldn't prevent you from playing. Try redownloading and installing to a fresh instance.

Downloaded the latest MultiMC this time and there was no need to rebuild jar this time. Redownloaded ModClient_1.4.7.zip and followed instructions, but same problem.

For client crashes like that this may be relevant: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Update_LWJGL

Or maybe MultiMC has it's own short-cut to accomplish the same.

Not having played Minecraft multiplayer before, and with little experience with mods, the community floating island sounds too interesting for me to pass up. I hope no one minds me being a tourist.

I think I fixed this. redownload and drop the new configs in your instance.

Join me, we can be nigh-clueless togheter!

(I have minor experiences with IC2, BC, and RP2, but Gregtech changes almost everything.)

Btw, do we have ComputerCraft or do we have to do with the RP2 computers?
