I really wish MineUp was updated for the latest version, but the last release was 1.2.5

With that I could customize the world pretty heavily, with 2 layers of caverns and then a nether below them or something.

Also, I see a problem here, at least when it concerns Thaumcraft.
The two tree types would be missing here.

The two tree types would be missing here.

The surface is an expanse of mycellium and bare trees with ruins and frozen pools of water.

What other plants? I can understand the concern over a lack of greatwood/silverwood trees but most things like flowers can be gotten by bonemealing grass a lot.

Anything which is truly missing I can admin in and place once we get a lit conservatory.

There was no grass I could see.
There is grass underground in the underground jungle sections.

So would this be Tech Server or Magic Server or a fusion of the two? I vote for the last option, more mods means more stuff to do, overwhelmingness be damned.
A fusion of the two, if I can get it working. The main reason they're not together right now is that a few of the mods were incompatible.

I will probably be messing around with Thaumcraft mostly,
I dont have much interest for IC or those other techy mods.

I just had a thought: If greatwoods and silverwoods can't naturally spawn, would it be possible to provide people with saplings for certain resources?

It also means that you can't run out of silverwood saplings...

I once deleafed a whole silverwood tree.
Not a single sapling was dropped. :(

Also, for those interested in the bee mod, there are apearantly Thaumic bees which is like a tie-in for that and Thaumcraft.
Sure it might be old news, but it's new for me.
