Archer sighs. It seems magi have a terrible habit of refusing to listen to reason.
"Lancer's Master, as I mentioned before, I can conceal my presence while Lancer can not. The presence of both of you will only make it more likely for us to be attacked. I should also remember you that I am her Servant, not you, and you are one of the men who will in due time try to kill her. I also see no reason to stop using logic while the magi around me start to show a severe disregard for it."

His eyes glint and his smile widens.
"And if you want to get certain 'favors' from her, you can go out on dates during the daytime. Whilst it is night, I am afraid her Servant's word should be followed on those matters. She may not be a competent magus nor a skilled Master, but as long as she desires to win, I shall do what it takes to take her to victory. And I had been expecting your opinion, but not your permission. No matter what your decision is, I may decide it is more appropriate if just the two of us leave to hunt. I am sure you can handle that amount of time away from her."

The knight of the bow moves silently until he is behind his Master and speaks in such a way only she is able to hear him.
"And if you wish to use a Command Spell for matters I consider insignificant, I will also take it you have relinquished your desire to win and consequently survive. I suppose there is no need to explain how that situation would be dangerous for you. Lancer absolutely needs the support of his Master to remain in the physical world, while I do not. Remember to use your Spell only when your life is at risk"

Kira listened to her Servant, and his words reeked with distrust. She had no doubt about the powers of her own servant, especially his skills with armaments and weaponry, as she herself checked out the manor's armory and found several distinct imprints of archaic artifacts strewn about in the empty room.

Though, the others did state that Archer was being rude. She didn't see him as such, mostly. He was like a teacher. A condescending, harsh teacher that had to be read between the lines to understand.

Well, at least she had an assertive ally. That was great. Perfect.

And the choice was with her if the group would stay together, or be split in pairs. While she did appreciate Rahul's company, being an elder mage and what not, she also did want to have some...quality time with her Servant, and discover the man behind the...weapons.

It was said in the book, that Servants were supposed to embodify great personas of an ancient time. Maybe this would give her the opportunity to brush up on her history too, and it was night.

"I think we should split up. Archer is right there, we both have our advantages and disadvantages, but one night is just one night, right?"

"Keep in contact, then, and make sure to tell us if you sense any other Magi or possibly Servants, if you can." Lancer materialised, leaning on a wall near his master, eyes closed casually. It was a habit he retained from his life... when he was thinking deep, his eyes would nearly close themselves. "Despite my... confidence," he smirked as he said the word, "In your Servant, Archer, I think it best than any combat be carried out directly by me for now. If Archer is as good as he says he is at staying hidden, he should do so and analyze our opponents. Information is more useful than a solid victory at this point, and as long as they don't utterly destroy me..." He paused, his smirk growing wider, the reason known only to himself. "Well, unless they completely annihilate me, I'll survive." He pushed himself off the wall, as he moved to his Master's side. "So, yes, I do agree with the notion of splitting up." He held out his hand as his voice faded, the pure prana gathering into his hand and forming the snow-white spear which he was displaying earlier in the day, which he rested at his side, held close to the blade pointed downwards. "As for where we go, I suggest that you, Archer, take to the skyscrapers, or possibly the highways around the town itself. I will most likely be escorting my Master around the Old City, for it is there that would suit me best to fight any class we come against." He turned to his master, a question in his eyes. "I assume you are capable of assisting me should we encounter another Servant, Master?" He let the question lie in the air, waiting for his answer.

Rahul smirked at the question.
"Of course I can support you. Let us go then. Our alliance seems pointless, but if our 'allies' want to go off on their own, by all means I will not stop them."
He walks off with measured steps towards the Old City.

"Um, alright then. Good luck and...

Ahh, they're gone."
Kira said as the pair left them, alone, in the dark streets of the city.

"It may just be me, but I didn't like his tone." She spun around to meet Archer. "So while we're getting there...why are you called Archer? Don't you have a...more colloquial name? I mean no offense if that's your name they called you in the past but...can't you change your names to be more...unique?" She swallowed slightly as she saw him notice her, for once.

Were those daggers in his eyes?

Archer had been busy in the last minutes, his enhanced senses extending and touching the area around the manor as Lancer and his Master talked. The knight of the bow paid no heed to their antics, awaiting only for the girl in front of him to finally get the answer she was waiting from the other magus.
He feels them starting to walk away and simply takes his Master under one of his arms as she begins to ask him questions.
"It is not supposed to be comfortable, but it will be faster this way."

In a few seconds, she is being carried by Archer as he leaps nimbly from roof to roof, moving towards the commercial district with the superhuman agility only a Servant can muster. The sound of the wind as they cut through the cold night breeze muffles would muffle most of the magus' attempts at talking, and Archer refrains her from talking as they quickly head towards their destination, invisible to the eyes of the few people still roaming the streets at the time.

They swifly traverse the Old City and the residential district, finally settling down on the top of one of the recently-built skyscrapers. Archer lets go of his Master and paces around the rooftop, his gaze shifting now and then to examine the surrounding area, before starting to answer her questions with an uninterested look.
"I am called Archer because I was summoned to the Holy Grail War as Servant Archer. Although I am proficient with more than on weapon, my first one was a bow. My real name should remain a secret, and since your mind may break under mental coercion, I would prefer not to reveal it, even for you."

"M-mment..urgh."

Kira nearly fell in a daze as Archer set her down on the rooftop. Moments ago, he was completely oblivious to everything she was saying as they sped on the tops of roofs, like a stone skipping on water. She felt like throwing up her latest meal, but refrained from doing it. Her Servant didn't look like he'd notice anyway, or would just ignore her, as she glimpsed him looking outwards from the roof.

She pushed herself up after taking a few breaths, steadying her balance on the hard rooftop. "Magic. That was magic!"

"That was wonderful!"
The sudden thrill still left her speechless. If Archer was able to do these feats, she wondered how the rest fared.

His name would have to wait for later on, as she snapped back to her senses. "Should I begin searching for any signs of other mages and servants yet or...is this just a rest stop?"

Archer nods at her question. The skyscraper seems appropriate enough, and he has a large field of vision around him due to the small number of similar buildings.
"This place is fine. You should use your abilities to try and sense any nearby Servants and Masters. While you employ magic, I will use my eyes, and hopefully we may obtain the information we need. Of course that if a good opportunity is presented, we may act. It is also worth mentioning that if you still have any questions, you could ask them now. I will answer them if they do not happen to be the type of information coveted by other Servants. Caster and Assassin may be very resourceful when they want to."

"Coveted by other servants? You mean other servants have a sort of intelligence network? Or powers?

And...are you taking me the same way as you did before? After I perform my search?"
Kira hoped he would say yes, but if she asked it like before, he might've just ignored her.

Thinking of that..."And...is it just me, or are you the stoic type?"

"I mean other Servants, such as Assassin and Caster, are used to waiting to strike from the shadows. Assassin uses its superior concealment ability to stalk Masters and Servants alike and gather information. Caster is the class closest to a magus, both in magical prowess and endurance. Due to that fact, Caster Servants will use familiars and spells to amass informations and create boundary fields. Those are actually the enemies who we should be more wary of."

"And we will keep moving between these higher buildings during our search, but when we move back to the manor, I am going to take you back the same way I brought you, it is the fastest way I know. And what do you mean by me being the stoic type?"
Archer's raises an eyebrow at her last question, staring at his Master with a slightly curious look.

Kira tapped her fingers on the floor as she looked onto the streets below. "Oh, hm. Stoic? Well...used the first word that came to mind. I was aiming for the...more vigilant types. Like those sentries they deployed in the older times. I wonder, how good is your eyesight?

But...I think that would have to wait. Shall we go ahead now? I'm ready if you are."

Archer smirks at his Master's remark.
"Maybe I should be sorry for not be exploding in laughter and jokes while we search for people who want to see us dead. And I have already started to examine the area around the commercial district. If you are awaiting for my confirmation then yes, you may start now."

Turn 2. Night 1.
__________
 Commercial District - Skyscraper
Archer surveys the city from the top of the skyscraper. Usually, it is pointless to try detecting anyone from such a distance, especially during nighttime, but with his inhuman vision, the Servant can easily see everything in the city. Rahul is walking through the streets of the old city, Lancer is probably with him in spirit form.

Knowing that the other team doesn't require assistance, Archer focuses on another direction. As expected during these hours, the streets are empty. Even with Archer's vision, it is hard to find masters in such a large city and it is still possible to hide, as even if the Servant can see far, he can not see through the buildings.

Kira attempts to use her magic to detect other Masters, yet doesn't find anyone. Since the spell has a certain range, up there it is harder to detect servants that are on the ground.

(-50 mana)
__________
Old City - Streets
Rahul walks through the streets of the old city, followed by Lancer in spirit form. The old city is poorly lit, and combined with the eerie silence, the darkness is quite unsettling.

The two keep patrolling the streets for quite some time, yet fail to find any Servants or Masters. Suddenly something draws the attention of the two. Sitting on a street lamp is a large pitch black raven with glowing red eyes. A familiar. Upon noticing that it has been spotted, the creature dissapears into the darkness.

There probably isn't a Servant nearby, as there is no reason to take a familiar with you. The owner is probably hiding in his residence, so it will be difficult to find him. Luckily, the creature didn't witness too much, since it noticed Rahul at a bad time.
__________
There isn't a lot of time left this night, so it may be better to head to the manor. If there aren't any Servants in the streets right now, it is doubtable that they may come out now.

(Status change: Rahul and Kira - tired.)

Archer sighs. Nothing of interest and he was only able to see Lancer and his Master. To make it even worse his Master seems to be showing signs of fatigue, as it is expected from a person unused to walking around during the night. Even if dragging her around could grant him more time to gather information, there is no way it will be beneficial to their efforts if they are attacked whilst his already incompetent Master also happens to be tired.

His mind delves a little more into the problem...He is not able to see through buldings, but he is able to track even the slighest shadows and movements even behind those, as long as there are the minimal signs of anything or anyone moving behind them. That means that either there was no combat this night or if it happened it took place in farther locations, such as the woods. A clash between Servants around the commercial area or the residential district would not pass unnoticed.

"Time to go back, girl."
Without any warning, Archer nonchalantly wraps one of his arms around his Master and leaps away while hiding his presence once more, moving swiftly towards the manor.

Kira stopped in her casting to sit down and sigh, she could feel fatigue coursing through her body as her energy was spent. Mostly due to physical means and not from that of magical ones.

It was nearing midnight, she could see the moon peaking from above the clouds, it's luminous face brightening the city and unveiling the stars around it. If it wasn't for the enourmous amount of light being emitted by the city, she could've sworn the skies would be more beautiful than before.

She was tired, those rare occasions that she ever felt the needs of rest, having conditioned herself to the outdoors and the nocturnal timing. "Archer, I've found nothing. Though the sky is really beautiful a-"

"Time to go back, girl."

"Wait, we've just arrived!"
