Why would the world be interested in Germany? Gee, you'd almost think there was some sort of plan where the US would rebuild Europe and  Germany, only it had been divided in two? And it wasn't as if the USSR went "lolno" and had some sort of economic council.

It's not like  Soviets were invading Japan or anything. Or that there was some sort of, say, blockade of Berlin...

Nuking Japan is more the transition into the Cold War than anything.

Let's say that the Japanese Tesla shows up somewhere. Say his <loved one> was <trauma> by an Allied soldier. It rebuilds, he is lucky enough to be in place, and quietly builds giant doom mecha waving Japanese nationalism.  Boom. >.> You can call yourself whatever you want when you have an unstoppable army and the faith of the people.

Let's assume he could do a Star Wars program, too. Japanese Emperor Tesla. xD
