How do I get into Deadboats (The East server, right?) My username is QuinnRi.

Also, so many skill combos to remember. I'm trying not to use the hotkeys as much, but for some skills I have no idea how you can get the combo in AND aim the skill at the same time. Like, I'm a Spitfire so I can toss these grenades, but the combo is RIGHT+UP+Z to toss a grenade. However, if you hold down, you can throw the grenades right in front of you which is way helpful. I can't get it to work unless I use a hotkey so I can A+DOWN, though.

Just to be sure, you're aware you can reassign the manual inputs, right? There's a little change-command thing in the skill point allocation screen.

As for the guild, open the menu, go to community, click on the guild thingy, then type Deadboats in the available box and press whatever confirmation thing is available. Then it's just waiting until someone able to let you in is online.

E: Though yeah, I'd guess for stuff that's aimed like the grenades, you'd need single-button commands or hotkeys. Not entirely sure on that, though. Know you can readjust the gatling gun if you use the manual input, but it works a bit differently.

I'm also trying to figure out how professions work in this game, decided to become an enchanter but I'm still trying to figure out how to do the 4th step of the profession questline. It just tells me to open the enchantment shop and enchant an item, but I dont see any option to enchant an item.

Oh goodness, so many little UI things to find, too. D: I think I'll keep most of the defaults, a lot of them make some kind of sense when you look at the animations, but that'll be nice to fiddle with things.

Krug. Not terrible surprising since hes like, 20 levels below this place, but still haven't seen it happen before. N' it wasn't even with the boss's OHK move!

Whenever I get there. Still need to clean the dungeon before it of quests, I think.

Though yeah, definitely sounds like a bit of a spike. Even the tier 1 stuff manages to survive and help out pretty well on hard, just two dungeons before that. Ruddy puppets are massively overpowered for their actual level, heh.

E: Oh wow, listening to some more of the soundtrack and apparently some of the dungeons have freaking vocals for their music. Bloodhell boss track has that sort of pseudo-scat hip-hop thing going on for the last half or so of it.

S'also kinda' weird how so many of the tracks have like half of the track that does something really kinda' interesting and the other half of it is sorta' eh. Not sure what's up with that.

So, question: How do I talk with guild peoples :v ? The UI seems surprisingly obscure about anything guildwise. Currently level 35 avenger. I was doing several runs of the tyrant's altar since nearly every unique there is useful for me, but I guess I shouldn't really bother about equipment till I'm higher level?

Type /g in chat. It might get covered up by megaphones if you're using fullscreen mode, otherwise its in its own chat tab next to general.

Also interesting fact about the priest:

Never complete his normal combo... well in PVP I guess

I hate when games do this, but still... never EVER complete his combo, after you knock the enemy into the air... stop.

You just set them up for combos... for you to retreat, for you to do anything else.

But the thing about the down swing is that is so slow and has such a recovery that it leaves you open for retaliation from the enemy you just hit with it.

Huh. Can't you cancel out of the downswing with most of the priest's abilities? I certainly never just end the animation when I'm not against chaff, but especially with lurking dragon and a little charge that last swing adds a nice chunk of damage -- and if you're quick enough, you can immediately cancel into the grab or knockup (or whatever, really) once the hit connects and keep the pain train rolling.

E: Mind you, at least with the exorcist, I'm not sure I'd be using basic attacks at all in PVP, at least unless I caught the opponent in the crucifix wind or somethin'. They're pretty slow.

Got no intention whatsoever of playing PvP, though :V

His first hit actually comes out pretty fast and has a bit more Z-axis range then it lets on. Its good for protecting your Z and if you miss your air toss move it can be necessary to peg them with it.

Also yeah you can cancel out of it. You just never want to hit the enemy with the down swing in pvp anyhow.

I was a magic exorcist and this was the only game I ever been good at PVP in. To the extent where I had to play worse intentionally (He has a REALLY cheap move he gets later on).
