My god, it's full of stars~

Most of the older console emulators will probably run, if you can provide the stuff to run with them, though legitimately doing that with anything but the CD based ones is beyond my technical capabilities.

Lot of older games can manage that, too. I mean... a lot. A whole lot. Just gander at anything pre-2k, it'd probably run. Lot of good stuff in that range, too.

Get more RAM, that should help you greatly with running stuff, or at least running faster in general.
Besides that, Frumple covered it pretty well. Roguelikes have hardly any requirements, plenty of older games work nicely as long as you can hit their minimum specs and aren't afraid to sometimes need to use the lowest settings, or just obtain emulators for older or handheld systems.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

So, recommend an old RPG thread?

Dare I recommend Gothic? It's got plenty of praises and should be able to run on your computer.

There's also Darklands and the original Fallout. Not to mention Morrowind if you haven't played it yet. All of those will run on pretty much anything.

There was this one vocaloid fansite that had a current archive of links. Can't really link it here obviously.

A lot of the previous touhou downloads were hosted on MU, and we all know how that ended up. There's a new list here.

You can also buy the games on J-List and Akiba-hobby sites. Remember the One Commandment.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Don't forget that we also have a fair list of games here.

You can probably run X-COM as well. Heck, pretty much anything from pre-2000.
