Dwarf Cryogenics program : CompleteSo a while back I remember ranting on about dumping dead things down graveyards (ravens I think D:<), and I happened to discover this rather peculiar effect. On how to preserve Dwarven bodies, and make yourself feel like an undertaker... In the Dwarven sense.
And couldn't be bothered to make a thread for it until now really :pStep 1:
Build yourself your
graveyard cryogenics laboratory, deep in the cool depths of the Earths.
*Dramatic statues of Dwarven gods optional.Step 2:
Dump your sleeping Dwarf carefully into the pod (it is wise that you make sure the Dwarf is dead before sealing the Dwarf in - wouldn't want unfortunate accidents now would we?)
Step 3:
Through dubious means of necromancy or unknown evil forces, bring your
dead slumbering Dwarf back to life, and hey presto, after several fort years:
Not a single scratch, no rotting skin, flesh or whatever. Pure, unblemished Dwarf straight from the afterlife!
Look! She's even having a pleasant conversation with the other Dwarves!
Now for our satisfied customers!
MOVING ON.
We would like to remind you that the bodies will be stored in the state they arrived.
*However*
Thanks to new processes, called the flow of time, even old wounds can heal!
Just ask the local Cryo-Kobold Stro
loasomthing...
She accidentally landed on some bolts, and bonked her poor head on a crossbow! Rather unfortunate. So we put her body in a pod, let the wounds heal and maybe some day we'll find out how to put splints on brains. They're just so squidgy, and I'm all out of pig tail fiber tape...
So forgo your receptacles, sarcophagi and useless coffins - and embrace the wonderful healing effects of time! And voodoo!
If you're not convinced, ask Trulbin, a Kobold volunteer who arrived with multiple wounds - we have yet to find out how she landed on so many of our Dwarves's weapons!
A very satisfied customer I might say.
Also, zombies heal.
