You head towards the window to your backyard, calling out towards the gunshots, "Hello?!" The gunshots actually stop for a moment after that. Seeing a rock nearby when you peek out the window, you slip out of it and pick it up, throwing it over the wall towards the neighbor's backyard. You hear a crash over there and a dog whining for a moment before being silenced. Quickly you sprint towards the fence at full speed in an attempt to not lose momentum(Dex:5+1)(Speed:5+1). You clear over the wall with ease and continue on as if nothing phased you. Behind you you could hear your fence breakdown, but you continue towards the gunshots, they had long since stopped since then. A small wooded area awaits you, and as you head towards the last known location you make your way over another fence and hop up on to a nearby shack with ease. Looking around while laying low afterwards, you don't see a sign of a man shooting. No blood, no shells, nothing. You wonder to yourself what is happening, and then you see a creature crawling near the house of this backyard, it seems to be sniffing the ground, or it looks like it, its head planted firmly as it moved, the dirt being scooped and moved away. It looked like the size of a lion. Its claws sharp. You dare not move until it leaves. What now?

You go to the closed door home when you had the chance, trying to open the door, you find it locked, as you go to the window you find one that is open, the lock in the unlocked position, and with a bit of effort, your break the screen window open so that you can open the window. Closing it behind you, you make your way in, it is dark in here, the windows offering only a little light, the staircase going upstairs is completely dark however. Trying the nearby light switch, the lights will not turn on. Perhaps a fuse was blown.

Tearing off your shirt, you use it to tourniquet your leg, attempting to make sure you don't die from blood loss. The pain is bad however, you need some pain killers and you are also feeling faint(End Roll 5-1). You wince as the pain hinders your movement a bit, however you do manage to bear with it. You find a gun easily enough, a revolver is all that is left, however everything seems to had been ransacked. You only find two bullets for it, it would be best to conserve. Using the wall as leverage, you make your way slowly to the door, wielding your gun. Carefully you look over, the creature seeming to stare back. You finally speak, "Is anybody there, please help..." The figure moves, opening the door for you to the darkened back room. It swings open slowly, but by the time you look to see who is there, no one is. You bite your lip gently. You won't be able to run away, and you need something to help you walk at this rate. What to do?

You look around for any cutting implements, but without keys to the teacher's desk, you can not look in there. You are forced to look in some of the desks you are not using as a barricade as a moment(Dex 6+1), and you find along the way, on a nearby counter the teacher's keys. With this you open the desk and find a 9mm with a full clip inside of it. It isn't cutting and is loud, but it has more stopping power than anything else at the moment. Peeking out the window, the kids who had tried to get away at the doors lay in bodies now, you can barely make out some shuffling movement, and the glass to the entrance is broken. Whatever they are, they are inside the building. You look for a vehicle, and the parking lot is full of cars, you can even spot your own car. You have keys for it, the only vehicles that wouldn't require a key would be the security cart which was a modified golf cart that was made for the playing fields in case of emergencies. This was further away than your car and your own car became your best bet.

Immediately you begin to run from the horde, the drop is too steep, at best you would crush your limbs to nothing. You begin to run away as the sky dims to a dark grey. There are no off ramps, after a while and a deep breath you need to breath, you look to your side to see the scrape marks of the bus from before, looking behind you the shambling humanoids are gone. Walking now in the same direction, you soon enough see the scrape marks again. You wonder what the hell is happening and what to do now.

You begin searching, but again everything is stripped, this is an apartment building however, there might be more besides this apartment you think. The lights begin to flicker however, eventually shutting down. The windows offer the only light source at this point. You swear you can hear whispers from the shadows calling to you. It quickly becomes physical, at least you swear you can see something. A dark figure seems to be staring at you, it doesn't move into the light, and it begins to walk around, its head always looking towards you as if waiting for something. You stare on in horror, wondering if you should run for the darkened door.

You head towards the room with your brother, the lights flickering on and off for a moment.Your brother had gone into the room, but you look into the room, there is nothing but darkness. You call out to your brother in a bit of fear, "Hey, where did you go?" A large creature appears from the room instead, and it begins to charge at you, jumping away, it gets caught in the doorway, it flails its arm and head at you, clawing at the floor and biting the doorway. You crawl on your back, away from the doorway. "What the hell is that?" Your brother appears behind you, grabbing your shoulder. "The future, it is what we will become or.. die." You look towards him and his face melts away, a darkened figure grabbing your shoulder tighter and tighter until it becomes painful, the lights begin to flicker constantly, and your brother's face flickers in and out on what is now the darkened creature, shoving hard, you look at the figure. What the hell do you do?

You grab a jacket out of your room and put it on along with grabbing the house keys, though when you try to open the refrigerator door it does not budge, you have to pull harder to almost rip it off its hinges and landing on your butt, you look at it opened, the bodies of your parents sit there, frozen, their bodies unmoving, and to make it even worse all the food is gone! Turning away, their bodies begin to reoccur, hanging from the fan, slit wrists, bullet wounds, on the couch dead in each others arms, the sound of flies begin to make themselves known, and the room around you becomes skeletons, populating the room. The room is broken down as if it hasn't been used in years. You wonder to yourself what is happening, but the skeletons, they begin to move, dark faces beginning to dominate their features, the darkness making them twitch and move. You step out the door, the grass is dead, and there are many holes in the fences, one small enough that you move into it, finding a shed on the other side for now you go inside to seek temporary shelter. You need a moment to process what happened.
