Tiruin
In a rush, you begin to search for some sort of knife, almost ripping out your drawers to find something useful(Roll 2+1). You surprisingly find a small steak knife, but before you could look for any other replacement, you hear the door being rammed by something. Being rushed now, you are forced to look through your kitchen one more time, looking for anymore water as quickly as possible. (Roll 5+1) You find not just a bottle of water but a canteen of water. You wonder for a second why you have such a thing in your fridge, but as the door is continuously pummeled you dont have time to ask why. Passing by the doors you actually see that the fog was lighter than usual in the backyard, but it was still thick beyond that. AS the door seemed to start giving way, you pick up your house phone to call the police, but there is no tone. Whatever happened, the phone lines are down. You hear gunshots running through the streets now. People are regrouping, at least it seemed. Your backyard is the only not completely fogged place so far that you could see. Well shit, what now.

A sound plan to salvage the dead bodies. As you grab your keys and head to the car in your driveway, you soon realize why this is a survivor horror game. You see the black shadows in the streets, some of them looking around as if they sense you. Quickly as you close the door they all look towards you, starting your car, you being to drive as fast as possible, the creatures running on four legs after you. "Shit!" There must at least be five on you. And the wreckage in the streets will require a bit of dexterity on your part. [Roll 3] You just barely manage to dodge killing yourself in the wrecks, your car bumping off the others like a pinball machine, alerting even more shadows on your person. You wouldn't have time to loot bodies. Because they are still after you, you find that your now beat up car is losing speed. You somehow manage to make it to the gun store with them hot on your trail. Getting out of your car and leaving the door open, you don't even bother to grab anything, you run to the nearby door (Roll 1+1) They grab your leg, and you hold on to the door knob, as they tear at your leg. You make your way inside the gun store, but you scream at your missing left leg. Locking the door as your final action, the anti-burglary steel door keeps them at bay, and with the steel cages down, they won't be making it into the room. They roar and rattle the steel in an attempt to get you, crawling behind the counter, you need medical attention. It seems like someone is in the back room, but they do not speak. They stand there in the window, the darkness hiding their face, they stare through the window, and you can not tell if they are looking at you, away or something else. ((The worst rolls, and to be honest this is a survival, going straight forward is not the best answer, these things can do serious damage))

Opening the Steel door leading to the apartment building you spot the apartment that was meant to be for the cultists to use as a live in base. Peeking in, there are many mattresses along the ground used for overnight ceremonies. The door being unlocked, you decide to carefully open it, and closing it shut behind you, You attempt to sneak into the room (Roll 1) and you mistake your footing landing hard on the floor between the mattresses. You hear foot steps and first you see a shot gun come out and point at you. After a moment though, you see your brother. He recognizes you and puts the gun down. "Come on, get in here man, you can't stay here." He whispers to you. Following him to the room from which he came, you see there there is a bunch of gasoline. "We have a bus in the alley, armored to shit for this." You may have a bit of luck, but you could also think of sardines in a can and rethink it as well. You really need to think on what you are doing.

Carefully crossing the road, you see one of the houses is open, the other is closed and maybe locked. You wouldn't get a chance to choose which one to go in before ducking into a nearby shed. You could hear the shuffling coming towards you, and using the holes in the shed to peek outside. Trying to maintain your breathing you watch as dark figured humans, shuffle in maybe a horde of at least twenty Slowly the pass through the streets, their heads slowly moving around looking for a target. One of them walks over the barricade, falling down the steep hill, not to be seen again, the rest they walk past. Letting out a deep breath as they finish walking by, you begin to wonder from the security of the shed which of the two houses you should enter, or try to enter.

Currently at the first floor, you run upstairs towards the second, finding an empty classroom not in use. Using the desks, you block the door to the hallway, locking it for good measure. The windows are large, but you make sure they are closed tight and locked. Letting the blinds come down is the best you can do, this allows you to regroup but peaking through the blinds, you see the children getting torn apart, some of them attempting to run away, but because of the dense fog, you can't see what happens to them. Now regrouped and attempting to think, you get the phone in the room and try to call out, but you find there is no tone, leaving that situation hopeless. Well what can you do now, you can't stay up here forever, the best thing you got is a sink in the room, most likely a science class of some sort.

You walk around from the bathroom around the house, looking for a sharp object that you could use (Roll 3+1) You find a pocket knife which serves its purpose. Along with some blankets from your own room, you find yourself fully equipped to the bear's standards. Peeking out the window, the streets have quieted down, bodies littering the roads, the fog was lighter in your area and as a result, for now, the monsters were not around your home. Every so often a couple of gunshots would go off to show a bit of resistance to something out there. You wonder what Mr. Bear wants now.

(Roll 5+1)With a bit of luck on your side, you go through the apartment that is quite high up. Locking the windows and doors as you go through the apartment, you find another water bottle, and peanut butter, along with a child's backpack. For now that will help you a bit more in that the bag won't break. Clothes seem to be lacking however, they had packed up a lot of the stuff and seem to have left in the rush of things, whoever they were, they knew what was coming, or suspected something. Lucky enough you find some batteries for a flashlight. As you turn on the faucet to try and take a drink, a black ooze rushes out for a second. Making a sludge in the sink. Though it greys out and turns to clearish water, it doesn't look completely clear. Perhaps you can rethink if you want to drink it. However in times of need, people do crazy things. At least you found some things, and the furniture is still in place, giving you comfort in this world.

You easily find a hammer, but because you couldn't find an easy way to the ground, you could start seeing movement in the distance, it began to head towards you. Shambles of humans it looked like. One of them was closer than the rest, its flesh melted and blackened as if lit on fire. Its body reaching towards you, it seems they knew you were there. The monster below had gone along, but these were an immediate threat to the situation and a hammer wasn't going to defeat them all. What are you going to do with these things coming down on you?
