TWO DAYS LATER, A SUDDEN STORM CRIPPLED THE SHIP, SENDING IT LIMPING BACK TO PORT. DAMAGE WAS EXTENSIVE, AND THE SHIP SPENT THE REMAINDER OF THE MONTH IN PORT WHILST REPAIRS WERE CARRIED OUT.

MARKET PRICES ARE UNCHANGED:
SAND PRICES REMAIN UNCHANGED AT .5 DIMES PER UNIT.
LUMBER PRICES REMAIN UNCHANGED AT .5 DIMES PER UNIT.

Also, repairs on the Foolhardy Seagull cost you nothing- it was able to get back to safe harbour before things started getting expensive.

Given the current economic climate, a lot. The crown is not exactly swimming in cash, and is lacking in sympathy towards the plight of merchant-kind.
