It's just one of those things. I like blonde hair so I tend to imagine blonde hair.
Janet is a six-foot tall, brunette, one-eyed pirate queen with a corset dress/short skirt, tricorne hat, anklets and bare feet. Oh, and a gigantic shamshir and slasher smile.
This is fairly similar to my own impression of her.

It's missing blonde (Almost white pale due to overcoloring and damaging it, letting it heal), extremely pale, the scars that are tattooed and pieced to look like stitching, and the outfit is all wrong! I'd never wear a hat! D.
Would it be terrible of me to request a pic in the photo share thread? :P (Yes, it probably would, and I'm not expecting this request to be honored.)

Tricorns are EVIL.

Besides who wants to be a terrestrial pirate anyway? Water? Pfft. I'd rather pirate in spaaaaaceeee.

And that's what I've done in ascii sector, Elite, and X3. Like every time.

Skyrunner is forever Secret! Though I can't help but imagine a blonde secret now.
I always picture Skyrunner as being vaguely Secret-like (because her avatar introduced me to KoC), but also vaguely Asian. Online, I never picture people as having facial features, or even actual physical shapes; just a collection of amorphous characterizations. In the same vein, I picture Janet as an anime-esque easily excitable girl, once again due to avatars.

I'd rather be a terrestrial pirate than not be a terrestrial pirate.

You've got to make do with the options you have. And who says space pirate can't wear tricorns?

You're either your avatar or who your internet personality reminds me of.

Right now, I'm seeing Janet as her current green-haired avatar, who would equally hug and kill you with the same vaguely happy expression on her face. >.>

Scary.

Scary.

You know. Kyouko being some kinda serial killer stepford smiler is an interesting alternate character interpretation.

As previously stated, everyone is their avatars. Although, if I have grown accustomed to seeing someone with a particular avatar, and they change it, I will more than likely stick with the previous avatar as my mental image of them.

They're really only for ceremonial/presentation purposes. Far too uncomfortable to be trotting around in all the time. No, most of the time, my tattered and torn, loose fitting jeans serve as my primary form of casual legwear.

EDIT: You're always going to be Ghost Rider, by the way.

Well great. Now I'm going to be imagining Ghost Rider lazily walking everywhere with a demeanor of mild irritation.
