I actually bought this game a few days ago for the multiplayer component. There's only two MP servers available, and both are always empty. A damn shame, because the game itself is actually quite fun. Definitely has potential. It's like a mix of Soldat and COD/BF.

The developer should add a single map MP demo, might entice more people to actually pay for the full version.

Maybe if he made it f2p and required a purchase for guns other than the default rifle? otherwise the servers are just going to be empty all the time.

I had way too much fun with this game last night. I kept finding positions where enemies would walk by and shooting them, which basically got me to 2000xp within oh, twenty minutes of playtime.

Fun. But is it just me or is there no ammo or anything? All I had was a squad member count and a grenade thing, in the demo.

You have to reload, but you have unlimited ammunition. You do not have unlimited grenades though, you need to pick those up or go to an ammo crate.

I forget but there may be some kind of ammunition kind of deal going on later down the line...

There's not much soul to lose if the game's servers are always empty due to few buying the game. Maybe it could do well on an indie bundle.

This looks awesome.  Demo was quite entertaining, and it actually ran really well on my terrible laptop!  Sold.

But, despite purchasing, I haven't gotten a download link.  Dammit.

You should get an email from those BMT Micro Offer or something (I don't remember), usually it takes around 4-6 hours to process the purchase. I've bought 3079, Starfarer and a few other indie games through them.

Agreed, but people just pirate the game most of the time, so he would get no income at all if he didn't encourage a purchase through offering the latest beta (the free demo is just an old version of the game with some features removed). As a guy who likes doing stuff on the computer (mods and stuff) while having a family, I totally agree that he needs money (I wish I had a spirit to start a project of a good quality which I could sell ).

And if you want to play with people, catch Jefmajor's stream. He organized a fun battle. People love him, and if you time it right, you won't need any bots at all.

The game only added multiplayer a little while ago. it really is in early development so it's not surprising there's no one playing online. Development's not going as fast as some other games but it is still getting regular updates with little bits of new content. I don't know what the plans for the future are though but i can easily see it having an active multiplayer when it's closer to complete.

You may also check the server list in your browser to see what games are playing without going in-game.

EDIT2: Aww, game crashed for the first time. This would be really cool with a bunch of Bay12 guys working together in squads on TS.

I've tried this game, and i hate how unintuitive uneven terrain is in the game... so much so that i cant stand playing it.

Woo, got my download the next day or so.  I was kinda worried, because uh, my browser sorta crashed mid-purchase or something, and it's usually all instant and stuff despite what they say, so yeah.

Anyway, fun times.  I like the M240 and use it the most, dakka dakka.  The Mossberg is fun too, though occasionally I manage to nail guys with several non-lethal hits in a row, and then die when they hit me.  The sniper rifle's kinda hard to use due to terrain and all, but when I manage to hit stuff with it it's pretty darn satisfying.
