I know this is a thread about the cool games on Kickstarter, but I just gotta put one in here for their support people. Frickin' amazing support, honestly. They not only disconnected a Facebook account from an old account (since I had deleted the facebook account and couldn't get into it), but they also allowed me to change the e-mail on the account after some pretty exhaustive identification (since AT&T deactivated the e-mail address I'd used for it). Better yet, they did this all in just a few hours of back-and-forth chat.

Honestly I am not entirely convinced that is what Penguinofhonor was trying to say. I almost thought he was being sarcastic in how that thread was "just as bad" as the sexist comments.

I mean the fact that the thread outright calls her a Martyr, something she definately isn't, is groantastic.

Here's a neat one.  You play as a megacorp trying to dominate the market through any means necessary.  Up to and including hiring people to sabotage the other corps and steal their research.

tl;dr: guys who kcikstarted for wasteland 2 are now kickstarting for planescape spiritual successor without having released wasteland 2, and giving a lengthy explanation that you problablably should read before making an opinion

I'm a little leery of backing a company who still hasn't delivered on their first multimillion dollar enterprise. I know that's standard for devs to operate like this....and I'd point to publisher-backed dev houses like Gearbox who got themselves in deep shit by overcommitting to IPs fans took very seriously.

They've explained at length for ya. Boils down to the writing/conceptual (maybe design) being near or finished for wasteland 2 and not wanting to fire people in the interim alongside the obvious opportunity.
