I got stung by the same bee twice. Don't trust the little buggers.

That almost certainly was not a honey bee. Honey be stingers sick in the wound (and kills the bee).

Make your own pizza without a bulky pizza oven.
I also have a perfectly serviceable kitchen oven which makes great pizza. :p

The first time it stung wasn't deep enough, so it tried again. That time is managed to leave it's stinger'n'guts lodged in my side. It was a bee. Not sure what kind, but a bee.

I stung myself with a bee, once.  (I was young enough--like four--that it is possible it was a any insect that could be mistaken for a bee).  But it landed on my leg and in a fit of "AAAHH!" I swatted it.  The act of swatting it stabbed its stinger into my leg.

I like how their videos show people just going about their business handling the hive, while their "questions" area farther down is all about "WEAR A BEEKEEPERS SUIT WHILE DOING THIS STUFF".

Also new worst nightmare:
Quote
Do I need to wear a bee suit, bee veil or gloves when I drain the honey out?

We do recommend you wear a bee protective suit, especially if you are new to beekeeping or have a new, unknown hive. Some beekeepers just use a veil, as being stung on the face, particularly up the nose, is painful and inconvenient!

One of the three bee stings I can remember was in the nose. Never again.

Got a wasp lodged in the bottom of my foot when I was little. Stuck on the couch for a week before the swelling and sensitivity went down enough I could walk again. But hey, at least I had an excuse to sit around and watch TV and play video games all day every day. Mum usually wouldn't let us get away with spending more than 4 waking hours indoors per day, especially during the summer.

Hah, mine gave that up when she realized that forcing me to go outside just resulted in me sitting on the porch and playing my gameboy. I wasn't a very social child.

My parents tried to keep me and my sister from watching TV.  When they were home that meant books, when they weren't it meant I'd pick the lock on the cabinet.  Once they took the cord away (that stopped me for about 35 seconds while I borrowed the power cable from the computer).

Mine never had to worry about that. I hated TV and loved Books. To the point where they worried about my development because I was reading books like Insomnia by Stephen King at age 11
