"Woah, Brother Lars is with us? This is going to be nice," Feyri said as she sat down in one of the benches. She the looked at the Simulacrum. "And something that sounds a lot like Simus...Huh.

"Jim, meet Brother Lars - the one I told you about last emergency airlock-anomaly."

Kyle looked around at the various people already gathered in the briefing room, not recognizing most of them.

I wonder if I should swap out this tesla sabre for something a little more long range... Hm.

[Toaster]

Lars looks up at Simus, his usual faint smile present.

"I'm sorry, have we met?"

Waving at Feyri, he looks at Jim.  "Yes, I've seen Jim around.  I am placing the symbol of Ingram the Distant Blow, the God of Guns upon my weaponry.  May he bless our shots this mission.  His symbol upon them will grant his blessing to them.   Do you desire the blessings of the divine upon your weaponry?"

[Tiruin]

"I do, Brother! This Arming Sword needs its heraldic tone."

Get Sword inscribed by Lars if he wants to.

[Toaster]

Lars lights up.  "Ah, yes, Sister Feyri.  That would be the domain of Vo-nos the Cutter, the God of Blades, fastest of all the gods.  His symbol is a sword, placed upon your blade and inscribed on the soles of your feet to move as he and bring swift death to your foes.  Would you care for such a blessing?"

[Tiruin]

Feyri felt her mental voice squeeing like an untrained soldier, excited for their first mission. She would've said it out loud, but then there were too many people.

"Yessir! Also, my shield if I wouldn't be asking too much..."

[piecewise]

Lars bows to the ceiling.

"I await your commands, wondrous Steve!"

That done, he greets the room.  "Blessings upon us all in this hour of pending triumph!  May the light of Steve guide our way!"

He then unloads his gun and goes at it with the marker.


Inscribe upon the gun and clips an arrow, the symbol of Ingram.


"O Ingram, I humbly beseech thee.  May these messages of death be guided by your glory to those who would seek to oppose us!"

You draw the symbol of ingram on your gun and ammo magazines.

I am Simus, Feyri. Or, at least, what's left of me. Wasn't much of a step, really, you think you've got it bad with your synthetic internals, Jim can tell you, the half he actually got to see was worse. So from what I was to what I am, while done via traumatic removal of the entire right side of my body, was not a terrible transition.

And yeah, Jim, I know Lars. Slightly annoying, since he goes on and on about Steve like he's a god, but mostly harmless.

Get up, go to the briefing room. Because.

"My apologies, Sister, but I have not yet completed my studies of the HMRC Pantheon.  I am not aware of an appropriate symbol to place upon your shield.  Would you care for the symbol of Pathmas the All Father, God of Luck on your body instead?  May his divine mercy see you through this mission."

He looks back at Simus.  "Ah, yes, I believe I remember the name.  I see you are... less organic now.  I apologize for not recognizing you."

Thomas cranes his neck and watches Feyri and Lars for a moment.
"Excuse me."
He lets go of May to approach them and points at Lars gun.
"Hey, what're those symbols?"

"Ah, fuck it. The remote's disappeared."

Get up, go to the briefing room. Because.

(I don't mind, I'm just glad someone is enjoying em. Also, remember Algis? God of protection? Might be a good one for a shield. )

Oh, and the symbol isn't on her sword yet since Lars didn't post an action to do it. It's on his gun though.

Do these symbols even mean anything? For all I know, he's drawing on your stuff.
It is much better to do such, even of a sentimental value.
