...ask them if it'd be possible to fix my arm length.
"It would involve cutting it back off and then jamming a metal bone in there to bridge the gap before painfully regrowing the flesh. That ok?" A doctor says, pulling out a bone saw.
Oh, thank you, Steve.
Wander around the infirmary in search of other injured people from the last mission.
Oh hi, Faith! Looks like they've fixed your hand, glad to know you got it back. Oh, and I also got mine back. Maurice waved Faith with his dried hand and giggled cheerfully.
Then, turning to the robed man, he asked:
I don't think we've met, have we? My name is Maurice Sanctor, by the way.
It looks like there are lots of people around, though Feyri just skittered away.
Go buy a laser rifle from AM, ask her if she has a small pda-like device I could have. Also ask her if she has a few pliers with extra-long handles for me (or, failing that, something similar to gab a far-away object with without having to touch it).
Then go to hangar and put on my Mk.II suit.
While walking to pods, try to think if there is anything else I could use on this kind of mission that I'm forgetting. If I can't think of anything, go into stasis.
'Hey people, see you planetside.'
You spend your last bit of cash on a laser rifle and a pair of long pliers. That done and with nothing else worth doing you head to the pods and get totally podded.
Oh, this is nice, I can see why it's not for civilians. Thanks for the help, Maurice. Now, I have some stuff to do in Virtuelle Realität, something to take up with the Armory Master, and I'll be back for my arm to get this grade of prosthetic.
Deposit whatever is needed to be deposited to the Lab, count Tokens, then head to VR and pull up the schematics for the wristblade.
You dump your samples and junk off on the research staff and then head to the BRIEFING ROOM so that you can GET DEBRIEFED AND NOT MAKE EVERYONE WAIT FOR YOU WHILE YOU FEED YOUR CRIPPLING TINKER ADDICTION.
Go jump into a pod then make cool peace out hand sign as im frozen.
You pod yourself right in the pod.
Roger checks his gear one more time, then enters stasis.
Looks like your stuff is all in order so you get yourself stasis'd
((I don't think I have any samples to give, but if I do, drop them off.))
((A quick check says that I may have a rock sample from Faith, and a sand sample from the pits.))
Drop off samples. Hobble to the infirmary then to debriefing.
"Uh, Steve, how is Thomas?"
>Living.
You throw any samples or items you may or may not have to the research staff before hobbling to the infirmary. They fit you with nice robotic bits for the parts you lost due to team idiocy. Then it's off to the debriefing.
Head to the briefing room, inspect own clothing, check for any other visible scars other than the fact that I'm sprouting a gigantic 'tree' on my chest and back.
Your suit is a standard MK I suit, nothing special about it, just the same form fitting suit with a metal helmet as before. The only other scars you can see is the one down your abdomen where they no doubt cut you open to stuff in all the robotic parts. You head to the debrief.
Equip my gear and get into stasis. If I carry it in the pod, that is. If not, just store it on the ship.
You leave your gear in your locker and get podded
Put gear into Stasis, turn in materials and artifacts.
((Do we get to put in stats? Was the mission a sucsess?))
?
You're staying on the ship, only the people who are going on the next mission are going into stasis. Well, technically everyone is going into stasis in world, but whatever. You turn in your junk, if you have any, and then head to the debriefing.
Looks like it's time for my trial by Fire
stuff my spoons and bottle of scotch in my pockets, go and procure 2 cigars and an extra cannister of namite, grab my supersoaker and get to the stasis pods
((Do we get a mark I suit for free? and if so, where can I find it? or was I already wearing it from the start?))
If not yet wearing the MKI suit, go put it on before getting into stasis
You get yourself podded after buying some cigars and some extra ammo. Going out in style.
"Okay, so we go and find the techaeologistic guy, he tells us what to do, we go off and do it, we come back. Sounds simple enough. Simple enough for MAGIC!"
Get my MKI suit. Put it on. Feel proud of myself. Go wherever it is I'm supposed to go (stasis, I guess?). Make sure I've got my Deadly Sword of Fatal Murder and Magic Knife of Blood and Unholy Terror with me. Also, make sure to get a case of some generic booze and another case of the Xeno Spit stuff from the armory!
((Sounds like fun! Robbing unfathomable post-human civilizations of their luxurious goodies, oh my!))
You get several bottles of booze and Xenospit from the armory and drop them off in the hanger before trying to put on your suit. You get it mostly on, save for your right hand where the blade has attached and refuses to be removed. Guess you're just going gloveless. Here's hoping you don't encounter a vacuum.
That done, you pod yourself hard.
Ok.
Take katana, feint an atack to his upper body, then atack his knee. After that kick the damaged knee and aim to slash towards his head.

The doctor steps forward as you swing and catches your sword arm by the wrist.
"Try a bit harder."
"Give me the cybernetic replacements please. Also, how long will I be in quarantine?"
"You've already been scanned. No abnormalities on any level." One of the doctors around you says as he hefts a mechanical limb onto the table and begins adjusting it for your stump. "You can leave when we're done. Speaking of."
You pass out, vaguely aware that someone has injected you with something. You wake up later in an infirmary bed with nice new robotic limbs. Slowly but surely becoming a cyborg.
"Any chance of hostiles or something? Also, remind me of my vr battle when we return."
After answer get in a statsis pod.
>Probably. I dunno.Podded get you, yes.
"Oh, before I forget." Milno said, remembering something and grinning.
Get manipulator which is with Travis and deliver it to Mason.
You take the manipulator back from travis and deliver it to mason. Then you go back to the briefing room.
Ah. Here they come.
Visit each of the new infirmity patients, checking on them and asking the medical staff as to their condition.
stuff my spoons and bottle of scotch in my pockets, go and procure 2 cigars and an extra cannister of namite, grab my supersoaker and get to the stasis pods
((Glad to see someone else is carrying on the tradition of bringing booze on missions.))
You proceed to wander around to everyone in the infirmary and stare at them for several long, uncomfortable seconds before yelling, "HEY DOC? HOW LONG TILL THIS ONE DIES?"
((Are mission people posting here now?))
"Steve, can you refresh me on the murdering on the ship rules?"
(yes, well last mission's people, so you)
>That you can do it and that I don't care. Alright, next post is combined debrief and mission launch.
