Another mission, hm? Well, I've got nothing better to do. Hopefully this works out better than the last one.

Well, you're entered in the drawing at least. See, because the other system of just joining whenever I felt like starting the signups was kinda discriminatory against people in other timezones we're doing a random drawing now. So people who have no missions get in automatically and then we use a complex system of weighted entries to see who else gets picked. It favors people who haven't gone on missions for a while and who have lower numbers of missions.
Its all very complicated but it's also a lot fairer then basing it all on luck as to when people are on.
"Uh. Oh. Uh oh. Wanna give me a hand with this?"
Try and pull the knife back out. Once that's done and the wound heals, take my leave of Bishop and head over to the workout area, see if anything's noticeably different.
(Will the hunger that I get after healing give me penalties if I don't eat?)

You yank on the handle, grunting and straining at it as the flesh gives a bit but then heals back up, arresting your progress. Oh dear.
Bishop just stares for a moment at the knife before glaring at Mesk.
"No, you did it yourself, you can fix it too. Anyway, my mental state is not the best right now, so kindly cut that shit out in the future. I'd be more careful about getting hurt too. Who knows just how far those little bastards will go..."
Go sign up for another mission. Ponder if I should take another anti-psychotic pill.

After hopefully explaining what's happening go and watch tv.

"Hey big robot guy, how you doing? I'm not really sure why I'm gonna tell you this, since we've never met and you've not actually said anything to me, but I have a feeling you want to know whats been happening in this unspecified amount of time. So the 6th mission is still going and some guy is selling stuff and blah blah blah. Alright? Alright."
That done, you squeeze past the iron giant and take a seat next to the squealing man on the couch.

Shoot him in the shoulder, then club him over the head. Slap a sub-collar on him when he's knocked out.

You saunter up till you're just a few feet from the man, out of range of any last second attempts to tackle you, but too close to miss. You raise the rifle with one hand and squeeze the trigger while sweeping it diagonally in an almost dismissive gesture. A chunk of the building the man is leaning against groans and slides down along the redhot cut the laser made through it and crashes to the ground in a spray of mud and drywall dust. The man splits similarly, but he falls quietly and barely makes a splash as red mixes with yellow tinged rain. You turn your back on the scene and keep walking.
