Place the murderer randomly and give him roughly an hour of setup time before the group arrives, the armory master has nothing aside from whatever she can buy with 10 tokens.

(After all, the purpose of this exercise is to see how a competent leader would do the mission with obtainable gear, not to marvel at the armory master's wide array of weaponry. I'll save that for a later simulation.)

Follow the nice man.
"Hey, you seem like a nice enough guy. Can you help Mr. Pillow?"

((I am sorely dissappointed with that one. I mean, the nuke should've armed as well :P ))
I actually rolled for that.

Go to the rec room and watch tv.

"Steve how many tickets do I have left?"

You go to the rec room and flop down on the couch to watch some tv. Crushingly, the tv is off and you don't see the remote anywhere around.

>Tickets? I wasn't aware you ever had any.

Ok, you want just an overview of what would happen or it to be actually written out as though you were watching? An overview might be more concise.

Follow the nice man.
"Hey, you seem like a nice enough guy. Can you help Mr. Pillow?"
((You have to wonder how pretty much anyone with a malus to speech always rolls a one or two when speech is called for.))
(There have been good rolls, but when you have a 1/3 chance to fail, there tend to be a lot of bad ones too.)

The Doctor guides you through the maze of corridors beyond the infirmary, taking Mr. Pillow along the way and handing him off to another doctor before ushering you into a room. The room looks like a fairly standard doctor's office, just an examination table, some cabinets, a chair and the smell of antiseptic. You take a seat on the table, idly kicking your legs while the Doctor closes the door.

"They say you created that"

"Mr. Pillow."

"Yes. Mr. Pillow. Created him with powers. Where did you get them?"

Karen got off the table after her... introduction... with the bomb, Hoppping back onto one of the couches in the recroom.

"Hey pornserver! Ya get enough footage to plaster that all over the bastards in statis or do I have'ta get an even bigger bomb?!"

>Please, You should search "May and Thomas" if you want to see what it takes to be in porn around here. We have a very discerning group of perverts and beating your genitals with weapons of mass destruction just isn't going to cut it.

"Well, I... uh... found this magic ball in a capsule that I also... uh... found. Here, I'll show you."
Show the nice man my magic ball, making sure he can see the exposed surface and look into it. Once he's seen it, protectively put it back into my pocket.
"I touched it, went on some kind of crazy magic drug trip, then I was magical myself. I turned a pillow into ash, then made Mr. Pillow when I tried to remake it. Mr. Pillow seemed healthy enough when I made him, but I left him alone for a short while, and he was like he is now. Can you do anything for him, Doc?"

Go to one of the tables and examine the laser rifle.

(Is the long coat effective at protecting me against soem of the things I might face?)

((Ballistic protection, but it is not insulated against lasers. Even then, ballistic is generally more of a threat compared to lasers if we are talking about suits. Laser takes some seconds to cut through a MkI, a gauss round makes a nice hole instantly.))

((Sure 'bout that? Piecewise is an evil GM, and that stuff will probably only protect from high-pressure kinetic impact, same principle as modern body armor, only more effective because it can take Gauss rounds, significantly higher mass and speed.

Probably wouldn't do too much against stuff like blades, though.))

Hm... the overview is probably better for the actual strategic do's and don'ts, but I'm guessing the full account will be more entertaining.

Look at the overview of the results.

(I may go back and look at the highlights depending on how this turns out.)

You flash the orb out for just a second before putting it back in your pocket.

"Give that to me." The Doctor says, holding out his hand.

Go to one of the tables and examine the laser rifle.

(Is the long coat effective at protecting me against soem of the things I might face?)
You sit at one of the mess tables and take a look at the laser rifle. It's a ugly thing, just a thin metal box with a rifle butt and trigger, clearly manufactured with cost and speed of production as the main concerns.

(yeah, it will protect against low level ballistics.)

Hm... the overview is probably better for the actual strategic do's and don'ts, but I'm guessing the full account will be more entertaining.

(I may go back and look at the highlights depending on how this turns out.)
The armory master uses her 10 tokens to buy a labcoat for herself, a tranquilizer rifle and enough generic law enforcement outfits for the team as well as a bullhorn and several hundred syringes of saline. Before insertion she has the team link all their cameras together to give each member 9 little picture in picture screens of the feeds from other members. Upon insertion she immediately makes announcements around the town about a dangerous disease outbreak and assures the citizens that the team is there to evacuate, inoculate and search their homes for the source of the disease. Things get rather hectic as the killer attempts to take control of several people but tranquilizer darts and physical restraining from team members keep things moving with the sudden violence explained away as temporary dementia caused by the disease.

The armory master then stays behind an tests each civilian by injecting them with saline in the stomach and "Examining them for signs of infection" while the rest of the team searches the houses. Over the course of the search 3 members of the team as well as several more members of the public are controlled, forcing execution and traquilization respectively. The search ends when the Killer is found in an attic. He overloads his own amp, killing himself and burning the minds of 2 more team members, but the mission ends in success.
