I'm eagerly watching the game to see who gets blown away first- as the sooner people get out, the better my odds of getting in!

Just a FYI, since Maxinum's already missed it: Only Scientists and Technicians can build base enhancements at the moment!

I probably should have asked this before getting started, but what do horrible lab accidents tend to do? I didn't ask because I figured they'd be somewhat varied, but I'm thinking I should probably get at least a vague idea before building something to help prevent them.

IIRC, the only lab accident that happened last time involved the laboratory being damaged (requiring repairs in resources before being usable again), and setting back research progress a bit.

Damage the base, destroy the lab, kill scientist, unleash a killer plant, result in the destruction of your entire base.( Though i think the last one was because of inactivity).

All of the above and then some - We usually tailor it to the level of failure + what was being researched

Us, actually. I... have a post, or at least a general idea of what I want to post, but I can't seem to convince myself to actually write it in... for the sake of not holding up gameplay, I'll probably just throw up my status and orders (spoiler: they're exactly the same as IronyOwl's), and (maybe) fill in the fluff when I get over this case of brain drain.
