After some time, he responds with a rather unsettling list. It reads as follows:

Mayor, stabbed through the heart. House guards had no clue it had even happened, said there wasn't a sound from the house that night.
Top Scientist, stabbed through the throat. Lab was guarded by security cameras 24/7, no traces.
Fire Chief, found with a hole through his nose through his head, and a laserlike stream of water between the wall and himself. None of the fire hoses were small enough to leave that little water, and no fingerprints were on them that were not of someone with a solid alibi.
Chief Architect, found nailed through the stomach to his blueprint table with a rivet. Rivet was considered a masterwork but lacking the smith's name after eventually being extracted from him and his hardwood table. It had a mark on it resembling a sphere.
Jim Zimondo, holder of the joke title 'Almighty Janitor' for being stubborn enough to clean virtually any thing off of a surface if given enough time and chemicals, if it wasn't considered clean enough. Found dead of an unknown chemical poisoning, nearby surfaces were not soaked in said chemical.

someone is removing people that are powerful perhaps to replace them there own people with or so they can do some thing covertly

The Police Chief says there has not been any doubles of the dead leaders appear. Temporaries have been appointed of course, but they hardly control much right now.

Sounds like a very powerful vampire is killing off the city's leaders, and there's the possibility that he may be controlling the replacements. We need to be careful. Scout around town carefully.

Theres more groups than just the vampire or the insects, guys. Why would the vampire kill them off instead of turning them, and the insects aren't this precise.
