I think he's talking about me. I was looking at it as a potential takeover target but it's too expensive compared to it's NW. I was trying to bring the stock price down so I could buy it and turn it into a profitable company.

Didn't realize you were a B12'er. You only had 73k worth of stock in it though so you didn't really lose much, right?

Next shipment of strawberries drops into my warehouse in 17 hours. Gonna spend some cash and upgrade the quality in the meantime, for the next load.

EDIT: Queued up the quality upgrades to level 20. Done in 2 days. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Every single attempt at expansion has been met with failure.

My company's Nix Industries, and all I have is a simple strawberry farm.  It has gotten me some steady income, but I wanted more than this.  So I opened up a lumber factory.

The darn thing took several days to make about a 1000 pieces of lumber.  The stuff sold rather well, I suppose, but I decided to shut it down.

I tried to open an animal farm, and focused on pigs.  FAILURE.  I put some pigs out on the B2B market, no one bought anything.  The market doesn't seem to be very good there.

Ahh, it feels nice to rant.

Yea, I've had some pretty shitty expansions too.

I was doing import flipping for a bit, but then the Massive Bot attack happen, and when you got burned doing it, really hurt.

And due to BallC success with Sporting Goods, I tried sporting good store. That did shit.

And then I also tried doing a Watercraft store... that did really shitty too.

But through all of that, I never stopped expanding my core business. My farmer market, and it's production chain.

I'm up to 36 products, all made by me, 100%, and due to the Store Rebalance, I've been forced to sell my excesses on the b2b market. And last day they both made 12m.

Since doing an IoP, and using that money to finally move into Processed Foods, and getting alot of my facotories up to 1000m. My company has a bright future.

I recently sold some of my stock, and started up a new company.

Chaotic Odds and Ends.

Chaotic Odds and Ends purpose will be to eliminate my need to buy from the b2b market. It's goal is to generate the containers I need, raw materiels, and electricity and water. I'm hoping that Odds and Ends will have production excess, which will then be put on the b2b market, which will hopefully pay for it's operating cost, but maybe even for it's expansion cost.

----
So, b2b market sales, require you to watch them, and to reprice them as needed.

Also, I totally hear you on the shitty production on lumber. I got one at 100m, and its 24hr production is only 6234. Though maybe that's enough. I need it for artificial vanilla.

Patience. Don't expect to sell everything the second it goes up on b2b... And don't be an ass with pricing...
If I see someone selling item X on b2b for $20 while it is $20.5 on import I'll just import as a good ol' 'fuck you' ^_^
If you want it to move fast then price accordingly. I'll put a $20.5 import cost item up for $15. It then gets bought up nicely and screws all the ripoffs and import resellers by helping to bring general price down- yes, I'd rather piss people off than make more money.

also, remember that the world average price is driven by people with 1000mq stores which sells the bulk of the stuff while you scrape the bottom 1%, at least at start. don't expect to make volume up front; expand stores before production and you'll be fine (if you go retail, that is - if you go b2b just make sure to meet a specific demand; like, there is a huge gap in electronic right now)

Better yet is doing both.
Produce for your own store and sell the rest on b2b.
It helps if you know a few companies that need the product you make and make some deals with them.

I was the boss, I put in jewelry, it sells.  I get a nice chairman bonus of 20%.  Cash cow of above a million a day for little work...  and its high price and name pretty much ensured most people don't even bother looking at it...
