"Yep, dude's doing the gopher mambo in there. He could be anywhere, but presumably he's the light at the end of that tunnel."

Send the scout eye downward, follow the tunnel as far as I can.

Anton frowns. "Looking for a thermonuclear gerbil inside a pitch-black rabbit hole. I think it's high time for us to hack the world." He switches the radio over to Steve. "Steve, how's the Sword doing? The Amp Specialist has gone underground, and I don't think any one of us is mongoose enough to go into that viper's den. Any chance we could direct the Sword's main sensor array to scan through this place for signs of his activity? We can clear out if there'd be harmful radiation levels or something. More harmful than standing next to a nuclear pothole, I mean."

Converse with Steve. Contemplate own usefulness on the battlefield. Maintain lookout for surprise turbo wheelchair space wizards.

"Damn it, He got away. AAARGH, should've finished him when I had the chance! God frakking dammit, I've got a godly suit of power and all it makes me do is create more problems down the line.
Now how to track this particular molerat down...

Jim, I'm obviously not going to fit in there. You and a few others might though. It'd be dangerous to follow him in there, but then again if we don't we'll have no idea of where he's headed. So we'd need a few people, 3 or 4 or so, to go in there and see where that hole is leading, while the rest of us try to cut him of. Even if we only find out his approximate location, that'd help tremendously. Or we could use a scout eye, though I don't know what their operational range is. Hmm... Stacy, Anton, would either of you be willing to go down that hole with a scout eye leading your way? To see where he is heading?

...I don't suppose any of you have anything that can fill this whole tunnel with hellfire or brimstone at once, do you?
Yeah, we'll just start by letting Auron get a better visual with his locator. "

continue digging until the hole the Amper made is accessible. Once open, let Auron use echolocator, then check inside as well with cameyes. Once we know more, ask Steve to where that hole would lead (assuming it keeps going in the same direction) and cross-reference that with other intell Steve has (like sensors reporting increased temperatures, mysteriously melted  or something).

Faith action: Same as previous.

climb down into the hole slowly and begin mapping the tunnel. Radio my team and steve informing them of its length and any changes in direction.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"Yep, dude's doing the gopher mambo in there. He could be anywhere, but presumably he's the light at the end of that tunnel."

Send the scout eye downward, follow the tunnel as far as I can.
[aux:6]
The scout eye rockets uncontrollably into the hole and bounces down to the bottom. You lose the signal when it hits but before it does, you can manage to see two things.
1.The tunnel itself is clear.
2.The tunnel breaches into an underground area of the base.

>Sensors aren't gonna see through several hundred feet of rock and steel. Not unless they're strong enough to kill anyone standing around there. Although, I suppose one way to handle this is to smoke him out. He can protect himself from a lot but he can't do it indefinitely. I can seal the area around where he should be and you guys could dump canisters of something bad down there.

You tear away until the hole itself is exposed. The rest of that was basically covered already, so yeah.

"Right, you guys, there's nobody in the tunnel, and the tunnel leads to the hall of the mountain king, as in some sort of underground area of the base. Guess we're going to have to chase this fella all around the place in that case."

Inform, await instruction. How deep does the tunnel go, anyway?

"Good job Stacy, well done. That's exactly what we needed to know.

Now, I'd say Jim, Simus, Mesk, Stacy and Anton go down this hole, while the rest of us take a route more... convenient for the larger among us and try to cut of his escape. Sound ok for you guys? Or you prefer the option Steve gave of dumping crap in there until he dissolves or something?

Steve, any ways for the bigger among us to get down there? And how many different tunnels or exits are there from that particular location? And have there been any sensor anomalies in that general direction?

Oh, and if we take your proposal of locking him in and drowning him n nasty chemicals, what would stop him from simply heatblasting his way through the nearest blast door? I mean, we already saw what that guy did to heavy doors, so what makes you think you could keep him confined in there?

Still, would you lock that place down for us? That would help."

Talk to Steve, ask and stuff. If team agrees with plan, take rest of squad down to where we need to be.

((By the way, I think we'll have to have Faith return to the Sword and be braindead sentry. It's a shame, but I'm not risking another person's character if I can help it. All in favor?))

"Considering that you can't bury the guy in rubble and expect him to die, you probably can't drown him either. So hunting it will have to be, I would suggest!"

Once somebody goes first, descend into the deep tunnels below. Should be great fun.
