((People usually post their sheets in the on-ship thread. Also, word of advice: put a point into Handiwork, as then you'll get a +1 to rolls.))

Name:Flint - Team C - Radio Building, locked door

"Well, I don't think there's anybody inside but knock anyway. We don't want to scare them. I just hope whoever it is doesn't mean us harm. We're sitting ducks out here, all alone with no armor."

Examine the lock. Will shooting it or cutting it with the monoatomic razor open it? If so then cut it (but don't shoot it yet). Also look for any signs around here that may indicate what's in this room or what it was used for before all hell broke loose.

"I don't know if this is a good time to say this, but I found a datachip with a mail saying that the doctors were coming to treat the patients in this block. I think we can see for ourselves how that 'treatment' turned out. Lying homicidal psychopath bastards."

To the old man:"So there's no-one else here that you know of? No friends or family or anything in this section? We'll try and get them out and safe. Do you have any communication with the other houses or other areas from your place? So we can tell them we're coming, and preferably to not try shooting us. What did you do here before it all fell apart?"

Over open coms, but not suit speakers:"We've found some old prick in our area, he reckons he's hiding out. I'm going to see if we can use any stuff at his place for communication. They might have had something to get in touch with each other, what with all the levels and shit in this place."

Try and look like I'm not going to ransack and trash the old bastard's house.

[Team B Leader=Milno]

"I'll just leave my weapons with a teammate and get in then." Milno answers. "Aside from my guns, all I have on me are my suit and some metal armor to limit delimbing to a minimum."

If the current course of action is accepted by the people, then leave the guns with Thomas and enter the building slowly/as instructed by the survivors, hands up to show the lack of weaponry.

Jobasio remained silent, pressing his back against the wall by the window and cradling his gauss rifle as he listened to the comms, eyeing the surroundings as he did so. 'I think I'd be more useful out here, keeping a lookout... And an ace in the proverbial sleeve if that man is lying to us for whatever reason.'

>Remain around the side by the window, clear my vision and keep and eye out for any movement to either side, as well as anyone attempting to escape through the window or any other exits.

>Keep an ear out for any noise from inside, too.

>If a teammate asks what I am doing, answer them quietly and explain, ensuring my voice is only transmitting through our internal comms.

Team A
Simus' emoticon changes to \0-0/, and she holds up her hands to indicate for silence. Over speakers:

Listen to me: You are the survivors of a plague that seems to have wiped out most of this colony. Our only job is to get you people out and onto the Peacekeeper APCs so that they can come in after we've finished sweeping the place for survivors and see what happened. We'll be escorting you to the main elevator shaft, where the APCs are waiting. The levels above are clear, so even if you weren't in an APC, you'd be fine. Once you're in the APC, though, I have no idea what will happen to you, the commander of the Peacekeepers who ordered us in is not telling us any more than we need to know to pull you people out. I don't know what will happen to your homes or your things, but I can tell you this: You people are lucky to be alive at all. Not to mention the disease, which was horrid in its own right, the people who tried to break quarantine and escape got cut down by people with industrial equipment, not to mention executions. The second level down, more executions, though those were more like they were done by an angry mob, though there were a few survivors that we got out of here. Third level down, some kind of prison gang had taken over, Blueshirts, if that means anything to you. They resisted, there was a fight, we won, their survivors went up. And now we're here. There are teams sweeping each quarter of this level, and our goal is simply to get you people on the APCs, and if you don't go willingly, we're authorized to do whatever it takes, but no one living is to be left in here. More than this, I cannot say.

Simus examines the wire she took after her bout of negotiations.

Jim raised his overly large hands to indicate everyone should calm down. "Listen! We will escort you to your homes and allow you to grab what you can carry. The area is safe outside for the moment, but you must hurry. Now, if you're interested in getting out of here and to someplace secure, follow me. If not, don't blame us if anything happens to you. This is your one and only shot at getting out of here safely. I suggest you take it."

He pointed a thumb at himself, then at his fellow robot. "My name is James. This is Simus. I'm the leader of my unit; the medic and the rear guard are waiting outside. There are three other units in the colony, sweeping the other areas of this level. If you have any other questions, ask them now, but we really must be moving," he offered.

(Well, no need for that up there now now. >.<)

Jim waited to see how the crowd would react to Simus.
The group doesn't say a thing, but they all act at once. Two men walk forward rather calmly while another runs toward the door out onto the street. The rest head back up stairs, running or walking.

Team B

[Team B Leader=Milno]

"I'll just leave my weapons with a teammate and get in then." Milno answers. "Aside from my guns, all I have on me are my suit and some metal armor to limit delimbing to a minimum."

Roll.

Milno flies down from the window and is in the process of handing off his weapons to Thomas when he is suddenly struck by a coughing fit. It passes in a few seconds.

May, for her part, rolls around like a dog in heat.

Team C

'Have you found anything yet? Be sure to declare our intentions before you enter a room where there might still be survivors.'

Try to get to that door, if I can't reach it due to bulk, go over to the next street and check it out.

Hmm. Well you think you could get in there, and get up to the second story where the door is, but it might not be very good for the structural integrity of the building in the process. Mainly because you would be more "Drilling a hole through the wall with your face" then "entering" the building traditionally.

Stacy, Team C Physimancer, Block C - Radio Building.

"Well, I suppose we should knock first. Any objections, Flint?"

If he doesn't object, knock on the door and yell:

"THIS IS THE RESCUE TEAM, IS ANYBODY ALIVE IN THERE?"

You pound on the door and yell into it. You get no response. You press your ear against the door and listen. You hear something inside, something regular and mechanical by the sound of it.

((@gm this is the equipment I have that is on me and not on my exoskeleton, correct?
Spoiler: Equipment (click to show/hide)
))

You don't see a lock on the door, it's just a plain, flat, metal surface. Plus the razor only slices so getting it in to start cutting would be a bit hard. As per what the room is, there looks like there was a sign above the door but that it's melted now. There's still a dull red light blinking in the ruined remains of the sign.

Team D

Team D Leader Faith, D Block

"Hey, hey. Calm down," she said. "Yes, I'm just using the suit. Here," she added, climbing out of it.

"Now listen, we haven't seen any Deepers or Doctors yet. No live ones, anyway. The Police are supposedly all dead, and the Rioters- those are the ones who killed them, right? Or are those inhabitants of other blocks?

Anyway, the former prisoners are either dead or escorted out, and we have other teams sweeping the other blocks of this level. Everything above here is clear and safe. Once we've gotten everyone out of here, we're going further down, but you don't need to worry about any of that, because you're just going to get into an APC, ride up to the surface, and then hopefully get loaded into a transport. I'm afraid I don't know the details.

And... yes, we found a ship. A Deeper, or at least someone in a suit with a mining laser, blew it up and killed everyone around it.

More importantly though, are there many people left in this block? We need to find and get them out too."

Exit suit, attempt to calm man.
You get out of your suit and are half way through your speech when you start coughing uncontrollably.

The man goes deathly silent and shrinks away from you, backing up toward his house.

"You have it, you have it." he mutters.

To the old man:"So there's no-one else here that you know of? No friends or family or anything in this section? We'll try and get them out and safe. Do you have any communication with the other houses or other areas from your place? So we can tell them we're coming, and preferably to not try shooting us. Try and look like I'm not going to ransack and trash the old bastard's house.

The old man looks a bit...busy. As does faith for that matter.

Jobasio remained silent, pressing his back against the wall by the window and cradling his gauss rifle as he listened to the comms, eyeing the surroundings as he did so. Stay quiet and observe sequence of events

Both Jackinthebox and Lukas stay silent and mindful of their surroundings, carefully taking in the scene and the happenings around them. Neither of them like the cough Faith is developing.
