((@IronyOwl: Why not bring whole bodies back instead of heads? You can give them to the doctor so that he can make you "pets" or sell them to other people. I'd do it myself but I have no IC knowledge of that.))

Brother Lars perked up.  "I will get a datapad if I see one, friend."

"Thank you very much kind sir. Would you like a pistol as payment?"

Addendum: Go to the elevator and accept the datapad. Give brother lars a pistol if he wants one.

Team D Leader Faith, Police Station-ish Area

Team D - Lukas - PD ruins

Lukas walks over to Faith. "So, boss? On to the prison then? Should we gather all teams?"
"Uh? Oh, yeah," Faith said, sounding distracted, "Command wanted us all going in together, so we'll need to meet up. Hard to say how long that'll take."

She was silent a moment, looking at Lukas, before continuing.

"...saaaaaay, you wanna help with something morally questionable? I uh..." she lowered her voice before continuing, and switched over to a private conference for good measure. "Kinda want brains. So I was kinda thinking as long as we've got a minute, I might wanna go take care of that, you know?"

"Speaking of which," she said, switching back over to normal comms and normal volume, "Did we have anyone that needed to get back to the ship from that A-B Team firefight? I might have to go back anyway at some point."

Start seeking out corpses with useable grey matter, in the Police district if there's any left but more likely heading over to Governing. Pile them, or just the heads or similar if that's easier, in one location for easier transport, and try to figure out the best way to transport brains for later use- just rip off and carry the heads back?

Also double check assumption that the ship has the extra stasis capacity to carry a bunch of preserved brains or heads or whatever back to the Sword.

Team D - Lukas - PD ruins

Lukas leans over to Faith as if it would help him hear her better. "Aaah!... Oh!... Uhm... Yeah, sure. I will help." Lukas also lowers his voice and switches over to a private channel. "Are you like...You know...Going to eat them?"

"So, shall we regroup with the others, then, Captain Faith? ...That certainly has a better ring to it than Team Leader."
Jobasio frowned. "Erm, aren't we supposed to be meeting with the others? Where are you going? Uh."

((His point about survival - even if lowly and despicable - makes sense, I suppose.))

[Team B Leader=Milno]

"Religious freak, did you find any military-grade gauss rifle or at least their ammo so I can reload my heavier rifle?" Milno asked through the comms, although the question was obviously made towards Lars.

"And you." he said, returning his attention to the blueshirt. "What about the 'doctors'? I suppose the deepers were well-equipped enough to be a problem, but I unless those doctors where the same as the HMRC's, I'm not well-informed enough to know how they could be trouble."

Ask the Big Guy.

Ok, here's the deal. I've spent the last 8 hours throwing up so replies might be a bit scattered for today and maybe the next few days. Hard to say, I might already be better, I might relapse. Just a heads up.

Team A and B

((His point about survival - even if lowly and despicable - makes sense, I suppose.))

"The doctors, at least most of them, completely lost it as the Red Cough got worse. They'd filled the cemetery and were already putting bodies in the mines when they decided that the only real effective treatment was to purge the sick. Last we'd heard they were hunting men with juryrigged flame throwers."

Brother Lars perked up.  "I will get a datapad if I see one, friend."

Grab a rifle and all the rifle ammo.  Also grab a datapad for the requestor.  Head back to the elevator to meet up for the Prison raid.

((These are the low-quality civvie rifles, right?  Still want one anyway.))

You grab one of the functional rifles and empty enough ammo from the others to fill it and an extra magazine. That done you grab the first functional Data pad you see and head back to the elevator.

You follow Faith on her quest to gather brains. You repeatedly shout "I am shocked and horrified" every 5 seconds along the way, just to make sure they understand your moral outrage.

You're about to get right on that when faith spazzes out and falls to the ground. Oh my.

You head off to begin your ghoulish work when you take a few hundred volts to the brain stem.

"You are not going to take possibly contaminated tissue samples out of quarantine." Command days, shouting over your screaming and swearing.

"Well, there's nothing left here I think. Just rubble and dead bodies. Let's get moving to the prison and clear this level, ok?"

Meet up with the others and chill with them for awhile. Ask how their stuff went.

You head back to the elevator with the others, chatting it up as you go.

Go to the APC, ask following to the group we escorted from the police station:

'Where did you people put the weapons you took from the police armory? We will need those back, and you won't have any use for them anyway.'

They're already long gone, taking their weapons with them apparently. Dang it.

Team c - Pancaek - outside police station

Enter cold case storage and rummage through some of the cold case evidence boxes, trying to instinctively find that one box that holds goodies. Take anything that looks interesting. Then regroup with the rest of the team.

"I bet someone got murdered with a huge sharp piece of alien artifact, I feel it in my wee pinky toe."

You rummage through the boxes, open them and throwing them out on the ground  as you  search. You find plenty of normal thngs: Hand guns, kitchen knives, photos, data chips with crime reports on them, but nothing that qualifies as alien or terribly interesting.

Name:Flint - Team C - Cold Case Storage

Hmm... It would be useful to have a datapad from this colony, something I can be sure the UWM isn't watching all the time, something I know is private.

@Teams AB:"Hey, people from the other teams, if you find any datapads, could you bring one to me? Doesn't have to have any info in it, any unlocked datapad will do."

Get back to my exosuit. On the way examine a MKI suit (remove mine if no MKI wearing teammates are around) and see if I can locate where the external viewing camera, microphones and transmitter are.
You get in your Exosuit and grab pancaek  to examine his suit on the way, carrying him by the head down the hall.  The external cameras, or camera, is set pretty much in the middle of the face plate, while the microphone and transmitter is nowhere to be seen. The transmitter is probably in the helmet itself and the microphone might be nothing more then a small hole somewhere on the helmet, easy to over look.

Lars first addressed (Flint? I think) the datapad-man.  "No thank you- I don't need a reward."  He then addressed his leader.

"Saint Milno, the only replacement weaponry I have found is a civilian-grade rifle.  I have taken one with a few spare clips.  I can return your rifle if you need it, but I don't know if the clips are the same.  I will check."

No thank you on pistol.  Check to see if the looted clips will fit in the HMRC-standard Gauss rifle.  If so, pass Milno a couple.

Head back to the group.

Anyone got an emergency kit or advanced emergency kit that I can borrow tools from?

[Team B Sniper: Thomas: Police Plaza]

Go up to Milno, wait and listen.

Thomas taps Milno on the collar before realizing it was ineffective through the armor. Instead, he pinged him over the comms and opened up a private radio channel.
"Milno, when you're done talking with him, could you share the info?"

((Hope you get better soon.))

Team C, finish up with whatever you're doing and regroup in front of the prison.'

Name:Flint/Deeper Scum - Team C - Main Elevator

Raise my shield and stand next to Miyamoto, in order to shield whoever follows us. Try to persuade the robots to participate in my possibly stupid and probably dangerous plan.

@Brain in a jar guys: "So, synthetic people, I acquired from some shady fellow back on the ship this 'Blessing in a Bottle' he called it." Flint showed the synthetic people his bottle of Xeno Spit, using his hand to cover the label. "It's supposed to help you when you are in danger. However the ritual is quite intricate and restricting if what he told me is correct. For example the blessing must be performed somewhere PRIVATE, somewhere AWAY FROM PRYING EYES. It also must be done away from active electronics. I'm going to have to REMOVE MY MKI to perform it. So, since I can't perform it on you directly without killing you I was thinking you could give me an object of SIGNIFICANCE to you, you know something like your favorite weapon or DATApad." Hopefully the robots would understand his not so secret message and Command would think he was trying to rob them or something and wouldn't care enough to zap him. "I would have performed it on ship but it last for a limited amount of time. I'm going to perform it to anyone who volunteers before we go to the lower levels, since I think it would be most useful."

((@IronyOwl: Why not bring whole bodies back instead of heads? You can give them to the doctor so that he can make you "pets" or sell them to other people. I'd do it myself but I have no IC knowledge of that.))
((Looking like a moot point now, but because I didn't think Faith knew about that IC either. Turns out she actually does, though; she heard that the Doctor is the one to see about animals (while she was standing near Feyri at the AM) and heard from Feyri directly that the Doc makes his pets out of people.

Space might still be a concern, though.))

Team D Leader Faith, Some Hallway Or Another

Faith began with fury, teeth clenching and eyes going wide, before her alien rage system calmed her down. It didn't do anything about her intentions prior to that, though, so she just sort of continued calmer than she would have been otherwise.

"The HMRC exists explicitly to handle dangerous and volatile artifacts and substances," she replied, her tone hard and authoritative. "It's never leaving quarantine unless deemed acceptable by specialists in that field."

Challenge Command.
