"A slight tremor, you mean? Yes, I did."

Crack a glowstick, look around near the dark areas.

"Alright. I'm going to do some preliminary scouting while you all climb up"

Travis cracks a glow stick, his faceplate tinted blue by the light, and walks along the walkway in the direction away from the wall.

You hold the glow stick out in front of you as you walk, being careful not to fall out any of the holes on either side. The walkway stretches on for quite a while, to the point that you're beginning to get nervous about being so far from the rest of the group. You're just about to turn around when the walkway ends. It looks like it attaches to another slightly curved wall; another building no doubt. You step a little closer to the entrance and hold the light higher. It looks like the walkway continues in through the wall, which by the look of it is over 2 meters thick. Beyond that, you can't see anything.

Get someone's climbing rope, wrap around shoulder and climb the rope Travis left to the walkway. Replace any lost pitons on the wall and try to get on the walkway afterwards.

"I'm going there, loner. Be careful, just in case."
You steal Simus' rope -she's not gonna need it- and climb up the rope that Travis just hung. Your exoskeleton provides more then enough strength to climb it without even using your legs. [dex:4+1] You step onto the walkway from the rope and look around. Travis has already vanished into the dark.

Compare the tremble I felt with the ones left by the Wyrm and with the ones connected to sandstone shapeshifting and think about the results of that comparison.

Did everyone feel that? ...Also, please, be careful, lest another tremor affect your ascent.
It feels a lot more like the tremors caused by the worm then anything else.  The only difference you can think of between the tremors caused by the ground changing and the Wyrm is the magnitude.

"A slight tremor, you mean? Yes, I did."

Crack a glowstick, look around near the dark areas.
You crack a glowstick and walk around a bit, staying near enough to the light to keep connected but only just. You don't see anything.

The ground shakes again, harder and closer this time. You still can't hear anything.

"It's getting stronger..."

Get back to the group.

"Something big, possibly the Wyrm, is approaching our position. We should be ready to evac if necessary."

((Can Travis feel the tremors?))

Travis walks through the wall on the walkway, shines the glowstick around, then turns around and heads back to the group.

Faith shambled to her feet, then leaned back against the wall.

"Well, let's have it then," she said, her voice fairly flat.

"Everything we needed."

Crouch on the walkway and pay attention.

Er, have what? Also, should we, perhaps, now start raising the people onto that platform (might be easier to hide from whatever is coming inside the structure), or shall we wait for the tremots to subside (possibly waiting somewhere away from this place, in case those are just inhabitants of this place returning home) and later return to shipping the less able up there and exploring the place?
Or are you suggesting a rushed exploration with just two of us, as the rest of the group starts hurriedly hobbling away in hope of escaping whatever is approaching us?

You walk back to the rest of the group.

((Can Travis feel the tremors?))

(you can feel the tremors.)

You continue down the walkway and through the wall until you're just inside the structure. You hold the glowstick above you and sweep it around a few times to try and get a good look at what you can. You can't see anything below you or above, nor out in front of you; in fact all you can really see is the wall to either side of you. You seem to have come out onto a small flat portion of what is otherwise a gently sloping ramp that comes up from the darkness to your left and continues up on your right. To the right you can just barely make out the edge of a doorway set into the wall. It's all very similar to the Tower, but seemingly on a much grander scale.

You turn around and head back down the walkway till you reach Milno.

"Everything we needed."

Crouch on the walkway and pay attention.
You couch down and wait, straining with all your senses to try and pull information from the darkness and silence around you.

The ground shakes again and this time you hear something in the dark, a great grinding of stone and a growl so low you don't hear it so much as you feel it reverberate in your bones.

A minor tremble, Simus could sleep through. This, however...

She snaps back to consciousness, still hounded by the headache.

Argh. That still hurts.

What the hell is that noise?

I think, this place's master is finally back, and his pet Cerberus is greeting him. Maurice gave Simus a wink.

Milno, shall we start moving people up there?

"Come on, come on," Faith said listlessly, looking out at the direction of the noise.

Activate suit lamps, attempt to use to locate stone grue.

"I think you should stay near the wall. We don't have any idea of where this thing is coming from or where it is heading to. If it is coming my way, then bringing you up would be a terrible idea."

Stay sharp, try to think and analyze where the sound is coming from and where it is heading to.

Anyway, move a little towards the place Travis went to before unless it happens to be the dangerous direction.

Not-good-not-good-not-good. Terrible tactical position

"Everyone, get your backs to the wall and pull your weapons out! We'll make a tactical retreat into the Citadel as soon as I make sure it's safe, assuming Milno gives the go ahead.

Travis jogs into the Citadel and heads up the ramp that's presumably there.

"Hey loner, less panicking. What did you find there? Milno asked, pointing towards the darkness as Travis started to get nervous.
