Gorat opens his mouth to say something, but is at a loss for word. So he just keeps his mouth open, thankfully behind his faceplate, before remembering to close his mouth again. He then looks around. How broad is the path of the rope light compared the path of the brothers?
The rope light is significantly less luminous then the lamps, illuminating a 10 foot diameter tube of light where it hangs.
Cheese grater, huh?.. This place is certainly messing with my mind.
No blood? Are you sure? Anyway, good to know you are still with us. Good rest should take away the headache and the side effects, but I can't say for sure how long would it take... maybe longer than this mission lasts. Oh, and I strongly recommend that further head injuries should be avoided as much as possible. So, I guess, no taking chances with climbing the rope for you either. Maurice smiled apologetically.
Ponder on the idea of taking off Simus's helmet for the visual examination of her head. Remember what I know about concussions and treating them; check the symptoms.
[med:4+1]
Well, if she has any brain swelling then cold might help that, though frostbite won't help anyone. You could probably get it off for a minute to do a quick examination but the cold is gonna make her reactions even more sluggish. She's got a lot of the symptoms of a concussion, the double vision, the headache, the blurred vision, the difficulty in coordination, but if she's got a concussion all you can do is have her rest and try not to move. And if she's got something worst then...well outside of just putting a hole in her skull to relieve some pressure there's nothing you can do.
At least I didn't self-amputate. Jeez, I doubt that she'll have an organic hand for long. Heck, this whole mission is going to require either very advanced organic regrowth therapy or a helluva lot of mechanical replacements.
Now, if I do have a brain injury, the cold temperatures would help, if there's any swelling, and allow you to examine me more thoroughly. And possibly numb away the headache...
Attempt to stand, using the wall/Maurice for support.
You attempt to stand but Maurice doesn't seem to like that and your legs don't either so you just slump back down against the wall.
You crack the seals on your helmet and pull it off, instantly shivering in the cold, your face contorting as it tries involuntarily to shrink back into the warmth of the suit.
