"D!@IT! Enemy, past the end of the hall!" Neil dove to the side and fired a brief shot with his hand lases to try to get a shot sort of around the corner. "THis kind of messing around is why this is happening! Why were you trading insults?!"
Saying whole sentences while diving through the air? Truly, you are a comic book character :P

[Dex:6][Con:5+1+1-1]
You Leap to the side, firing your hand lasers and sweeping them about like mad for a half second before slamming directly into the wall because you were trying to do a leaping John Woo move in the middle of a hallway. Your hand lasers swing about as you slide down the wall, sweeping across your teammates multiple times. Luckily, the combination of quick sweeps, diffusion from water and the fact that hand lasers are generally crap to begin with render your potential teamkilling null. Also, since it's very hard to leap very well underwater, your valiant dive directly into a wall doesn't injure anything except your pride.

Thomas saw the man engrossed in his machine, and begun to move  gracefully and naturally, like well made clockwork. Hostage situations were nothing new to him.
"So, what are you doing"
The man spins around and looks very very surprised to see you. He immediately starts talking in a language you don't understand while gesturing rather wildly, first at you, then down the hall, then down the stairs.

At 1/3, hold off at about 2/3.

Have you found someone? You're still on our radio, not your suit's speakers, mate.
Do me a favor and if you have an action, don't put it in speech like that. Because not only can I miss it, but it can also get confusing as to whats an actual action and whats just a declaration of intent.

You continue down the dam, making it to about the half way point. As you walk you notice that the men at the nearest installation are in different places now...closer places. Uh oh.

((@Powder Miner: Milno never got to answer Faith according to the turn of events.))

Milno does not even blink as he flies straight into his teammates.

He turns to face the hall as fast as he can and shoots with his gauss rifle at the shadow as soon as he sees it. Only if it won't wind up in friendly fire.
"Really? I thought enemies attacked us, not insults."
(You're still technically in the front of this horde so no, no friendly fire. But honestly, whenever you're behind anyone, there is always the chance of friendly fire.)
[Dex:3]
[Rebel dex:5]
[Rebel con:4]
[Con:1+1]
You spin to face the hall, pulling yourself up as you do and whipping your rifle around in a single fluid motion. You notice your chest plate glow dull red for an instant, eliciting a rush of bubbles as the water cools it, before you fire. Your shot goes wide as the man, for thats clearly what he is, ducks back behind the corner.

"D!@IT! Enemy, past the end of the hall!" Neil dove to the side and fired a brief shot with his hand lases to try to get a shot sort of around the corner. "THis kind of messing around is why this is happening! Why were you trading insults?!"

((Uhm, you are behind us and you are shooting a laser under water? This may end bad for us.))

Lukas was surprises by Milno's sudden charge, but luckily no real harm was done...To him at least. When he heard someone shouting something about enemies Lukas looked towards the end of the hall to see if he could see anything. Maybe he could get a clear shot.

Check the end of the hall, use Crystalline projector if there is any movement at all and if there is no risk of accidentally htting Milno or Faifth instead.
Well, since you're in a pile with Milno pretty much on top of you, yeah there's a risk of friendly fire. Then again, if someone is in front of you there's pretty much always a risk of friendly fire.

Faith just squawked indignantly, wondering what the hell had just happened and trying to right Lukas again.
[str4-1] You impersonate May for an instant before trying to shove Milno off you and Lukas. You push him maybe half a foot but can't get up.

They're pretty big. The base alone is maybe 30 feet tall, and on top of that is a giant triple gimbal (one of these:

)

in which the cannon itself hangs and rotates. The cannon itself doesn't look much like a cannon, at least not your standard long barreled thing, it's rather short and stubby, almost egg shaped, with cooling manifolds sprouting out all over the back and a big black lens in set into the tip. From the top of the Gimbal system to the ground they're maybe 70 feet tall.

Seems they've finally noticed me. I'm hanging at halfway down, if they get too close, I'll dispose of them.

Anything up with ya'lls man?

Wait and see exactly how close they get, if they get to within 50 meters of the dam base, heat an area, half-circle from the base of the dam, centered directly below me, radius of 100 meters to 500 Celsius.

((@GM: I forgot to tell you, but Milno was not supposed to turn back to taunt Faith. He talks while looking forward, and he only turns back when I write him as doing so.))

Milno keeps staring at the hall while hefting his gauss rifle after standing up.
"You with the projector, stay by my side. Shoot the moron if you see him."

He takes a takes  quick look at his arm before aiming his rifle at the end of the hall, taking care not to push it into the danger zone where whatever cut the metal rod is.
"Steve, do you have anything, like a manual or set of instructions, to teach someone with almost no medical skills how to put a dislocated shoulder back in place?"

Milno stands up if he hasn't done it yet, allowing Lukas and Faith to do the same. He keeps aiming the gauss rifle at the end of the hall and shoots if an enemy appears.

"Hold it in place where you think it should go, and slam it against the wall. Hard as you can. There has to be a way to remove the wires."

Examine wall near wires, staying far enough away to not get sliced. Stay low so my comrades can shoot over me.

Thomas frowned. He hated being insulted, even when they didn't mean it. With some deep breathing and counting, he restrained himself. He opened Mays radio channel, speaking through his teeth.
"Hi May. So, can you look around, and tell us where the rebels are?"
He switched to the general channel.
"Well, I don't speak whatever language this man is speaking, so I think I'll just take him with."
He turned off the outgoing radio and switched on his speakers.
"Do you speak Basic?"
While he waited for the mans response, Thomas examined the machine. He looks for labels, gauges and input devices.

Look around at surroundings, especially for rebels.

((@Spinal_Taper You probably mean Nick. Nik is currently having a nice little dream with his lower half of the body gone, so talking to him is pretty much like talking to yourself. Not that there's anything bad with it, though, or, just got a thought, you might be trying to mislead the ones eavesdropping on your conversations without confusing anyone on the team, or something like that - if that's true, then talking to Nik is absolutely justified, and I beg forgiveness for my ignorance.  :) ))

Dream of Ham sandwiches as members of the 'Corps, participating in their own HMR missions.
