Unclamp myself.

Seeing the dying, search the group for any kind of medical or other kit I could use.

Head to Nik first and attempt to stop him bleeding out.

Hey Nik, even if I can't stop your bleeding out, you'll wake up back on the ship. Trust me.

After trying to help Nik, try and help anyone else who's mortally wounded.

"Well... I wasn't a mercenary... but... I definitely know how to use these things." Neil follows to the side of Faith, with his hand lasers ready. He was FINALLY going to get to use them again.
Unbeknownst to him, a manic grin was spreading on his face.

>Empyrean
The bean sweeps near you, near enough that you feel the heat even through your suit, but misses you.
>Thomas
The beam sweeps upwards just as its about to pass you and your left hand evaporates. [End:6]You grimace and grind your teeth before slamming the stump of your hand up against the red hot exterior of the nearest rocket pod, cauterizing the wound in a burst of steam.
>Nick
You're next to Thomas, so as the beam of the laser slashs upwards and takes his hand, it takes your right arm at the shoulder. Guess it's a good thing it was robotic.
>Nik
The blade of the laser sweeps across your torso, evaporating a section of your gut from just below your belly button to just above your naughty bits. [end:5] You remain conscious despite the pain, though all you can do is watch the blood and charred intestine pour out, down onto your severed legs. [Mortal wound. You will die in 3 turns without serious medical aid.]
>May
You are the last to be hit, caught just as the laser lashing upward and away from the vivisected ship. It catches your right leg at the knee and then jerks in a sharp arc and hacks your left arm off straight through the funny bone. [End:2] Perhaps mercifully, you pass out from the pain. [Mortal wound. You will die in 3 turns if you do not get serious medical aid.]

Just poking in to say you guys got seriously owned and good luck

((@Nikitian: You just caused any attempt to save you to turn near impossible.

@GM: Since their (May and Nikitian) brains are still in one piece, do we have a shot at ressurecting them if we are fast enough? I really doubt their bodies can be saved, though.
-Also, would waking May up be considered a med roll or have any chance of speeding up "its" death? It has a higher chance of saving itself than being saved by the rest of the team.))

((I think I'll stop posting actions for Milno for some time until I can get more members of the team moving aside from Faith.))

Sky mode

Action for Empyrean: Check if it is possible to discern the AA batteries from the crash site and how many enemies are there.
(If their head isn't destroyed, we can (usually) bring em back.  Hell, may only lost some limbs, she'll be fine. Well, you know what I mean. )

You walk to the edge of the dam and look off across the valley below you, resting one foot on the raised lip running along the edge. You can see the AA guns from here, down on the valley's floor. They're not gun batteries so much single, great big laser cannons mounted on a giant triple gimbal. The entire thing is perched on what looks like a big square base, probably the facility containing the power generators and control systems. You can't see any wires or cables connecting the to the laser, so they must either be integrated into the gimbal or just to similar in color for you to make out from here. You can see a few scattered black dots, barely visible from this distance, milling about near the cannons.

((Don't give up till the end, bro. Try to save his body by using any medical kits nearby or advanced kits!))
((If you really want him to live, you would wait for Nekarios to do something. -1 to med rolls, remember? Empyrean and Thomas have -2.))
((What are the rules on joint effort again - players spending actions to help one another to make one big action?))
Yeah that only kinda works on certain things. Like pulling a rope. Not performing surgery. A bunch of idiots all trying to give first aid at once does not suddenly result in effects similar to a single competent person doing it.

"Well shit. Steve, can you give us a report on the other teams? Team B in particular. We are gonna have a hell of a time getting out of this shithole."

Head down to the next floor.

>Call em yourself. I'm sure they're not too busy.

You drop down into the janitor's closet next to Milno and Faith follows you in as well. It's getting kinda cramped in here.

"Where's Nick? Oh there he is. Empryean, I think he's the best at this kind of thing. Let's see if he can help us. The rest of you, stay the fuck still. Everytime you move, you send blood gushing everywhere"
Thomas tries to awaken Nick.

Unclamp myself, and retrieve my MFM from the severed right arm - carry it for now.

((FUCK. SLEEPING. DURING. THE. DAY.

Also, we may not be that screwed. I can take out AAA towers if need be. Melt the barrels off, perhaps?))

(that arm of yours isn't severed so much as it evaporated. But we'll assume you kept the MFM in your implied backpack/ hammerspace.)

You grab the medical kit from Thomas who is flailing rather unhelpfully and bend down to take a look at Nik. [med:6-1] You dig into the medical supplies and retrieve some Medi-foam, a pain killer and a coagulant booster. You administer enough pain killer to knock him out before dosing him with the booster and spraying the medi-foam directly into the sucking hole where his lower body used to be. The foam expands and provides pressure, working with the coagulant booster to stop the bleeding.

"I've stopped the bleeding and bought him some time but all it's done is delay the inevitable. He needs a real doctor and as soon as possible, otherwise he's going to die of shock or any number of other things. He's out for now, which should give him a bit more time, but thats all I can do."

You move on to May, who is still unconscious.  [med 6-1] (really? Two 6's in a row? You're channeling the doctor right now.)

She's easy, compared to Nik. You make sure the severed stumps are clean before injecting a Coagulant booster and medi-foaming the wound. You cover the rapidly hardening foam in sterile shrink bag, which shrinks and binds itself to her skin, enclosing the wound and foam in an airtight, sealed, sterile environment.

"She'll be fine now. Well, as fine as she can be. She may need pain killers when she wakes up but we'll worry about that when we come to it. "

"Well... I wasn't a mercenary... but... I definitely know how to use these things." Neil follows to the side of Faith, with his hand lasers ready. He was FINALLY going to get to use them again.
Unbeknownst to him, a manic grin was spreading on his face.
You hop down into the janitor's closet along with Cog. Ok, it is very dark and very cramped in here with 4 other people.

((I'm still surprised with the fact Empyrean escaped unscathed. How bad were the overall rolls and how did she roll?

Also, now we finally have more limbless people in the ship.))

"I'm sure he'll follow us. Let's move."

Milno turns his lamps on and starts to move to the access to the lower level while moving the rod in front of him.

The tension evaporated off of Thomas' face and he smiled. That could have gone much, much worse. They could of lost both of them, if he or Empryean had done it. He patted Nick on the back.
"Holeeeee shit, you are a genius. You saved both of them. I think Nik's going to be just fine as well. We can take whatever medicine the rebels have, and if we persuade their doctors, they'll be able to stitch him back together."
He sat down next to Mays unconscious form, and checked his rifle.
"So, what now?"

((... Why am I a better doctor than any of the specialists seem to have been?))

Now that's taken care of, one of the first things I want us to do is link our helmet feeds, so we all see what each individual sees. That might help if we are separated, and it will really help with scouting.

Link video feeds with the others, if they agree.

Find the person who agreed to try my prototype, and see if they're intact.

Here's the rifle. It has three firing modes, single-shot, three-shot burst, and overcharge. 75 rounds in the magazine, or 25 if you're just going to use the burst. Alright at short ranges, excellent at medium. Also, I'd like to link data feeds with your suit specifically, and record them for posterity. Oh, and your name, please.

Hand them the rifle, then link their suit's data feeds to mine.

Hail Team A:

We've had a rough landing but all of the dying ones aren't dying anymore, nor are they dead. We're starting our mission. I'll check in when we've got an AAA tower down.
