(Anyways. You all find the following document in your rooms at the Pokemon Center)
A Trainer's Guide to Ft. Cidney City Attractions
Employment:
Brine Pier: The fishermen here will pay trainers to knock out their still struggling catch. Most boat captains pay 700-1400py to clear out one net-load of water pokemon. Trainers are often allowed to catch any inedible Pokemon in the nets, and may elect to receive their pay in fresh fish (Live or prepared).
Pergenson’s Training Gym: Athletes, League hot shots, and Coordinators send there Pokemon to Pergenson's to train for and stay in shape between competition. If you are willing to subject your Pokemon to horridly one sided battles for experience and a paycheck you may get the chance to meet and help train famous Pokemon. Pay varies based on risk to your Pokemon.
Escalade Labs: Dr. Escalade, world renowned paranormal researcher, has recently set up shop here in Ft. Cidney. He has a program in place where wandering trainers can receive pay for assisting in his studies. (Till and Gerome are aware that Dr. Escalade has a reputation for cruelty to Pokemon, and has been run out of many major universities for ethical concerns. He has a bad habit of working for criminal groups in exchange for funding)
Shopping:
Outdoor Market: Stalls selling fresh fish, produce, and cool trinkets can be found here. Don't forget to try the local speciality; Saltwater Taffy!
Veteran’s Armory: A combination Pokemart and Military Surplus store. Stock up on suplies if you intend to tackle battlefield path! Due to the Treazur Region's state of near anarchy you can buy all sorts of stuff here that they wouldn't dream of selling in any of the major regions!
Trainer Opportunities:
Ft Cidney Gym: The local gym, official sanctioned by the Pokemon League! Qualifying Battles and matches against the leader in arena 'A'. The smaller 'B' arena hosts interesting Pokemon and non-Pokemon related events and competitions on an almost daily basis! League Battles are available by appointment only, and require the payment of a 2000py entry fee.
Battlefield Path: A rugged mountain path where many armies clashed during the age of sail. All sorts of interesting historical finds can be made off the beaten path. There are two trails, The Loop and the Roger's trail. The loop takes about 6 hours to complete and returns you to the city. Roger's Trail takes about 30 hours to complete and leads to the settlement of the spooky Roger's Pirate clan. It is recommended you pay a visit to the experts at the Veteran's Armory for advice and trailblaizing supplies.
Old Ft. Cidney Ruins: The fort that this island is named after still stands - partially. Trainers gather at these ruins for unofficial battles and wild parties. Nearby vendors provide drinks, drungs, and condoms; however it is recommended that you stock up on such things in town as the prices are inflated.
