I haven't ever played a Warhammer 40k game, and I like the sound of the Rogue Trader campaign. I might be interested in learning the rules and joining assuming my schedule agrees.

Thought it was Ghaz. If not, I can try to GM. Just need to learn how to use a dice bot and read up on the rules.

I have played this, and if I can make it to the sessions I would like to join. I would suggest though, that we do not use a IRC, but rather maptools, as that is much much more appropriate. Also I am somewhat willing to help players new to the 40K systems in general and Rogue Trader in particular, but you will need the rule book and I would hope you are a fast learner or at least reasonably okay. I also will not be GMing.

Actually I know nothing about 40k so I'll not be playing.

You could certainly learn, it is not a hard system.

Also I am somewhat interested in being the tech guy, but am willing to let someone else take that roll. I could also take the roll of Astropath Transcendent since that is two systems to learn. Really, I could join in any capacity.

For those who do not know the basic set up basically one player needs to be the leader of the group and take the Rogue Trader career path. Then it is a good idea for the rolls of Astropath Transcendent and Navigator to be taken by players because otherwise we will need NPCs to fill these very important slots. The other rolls are optional to a greater or lesser degree.

OK, if no one wants to be GM, I'm sure I can step in. Just expect initial crappiness. And being a newb GM.

Anyone ok with 17:00 GMT+10?

That would be 7 in the morning GMT correct? And so 1 in the morning for me, which I can not make. At least not on a weekday or indeed most weekends.

Woah. Early morning, I may have some issues getting to that but I'll try to work it in I guess.

How about we just suggest some times? We can make something out of that.
