And so ends season 6. My thanks to everyone who participated, and I hope you'll consider playing with us again in season 7!
Speaking of season 7, signups start now!
If you played in S6, and will be taking your S6 team to S7, just post here indicating you want to play in S7 and you're done.
If you played in S6, and will be having a new team for S7, post here indicating you want to play, then remove your S6 team and apply your new team for S7.
If you're new to the tournament, welcome. To sign up, pick a race that currently is available, create it, and apply your team to the league. Kindly include your time zone in your post, as well.
The league is "Bay12 League" and the password is "Bay12".
Please note that only teams that have played exclusively in Bay12 tournaments can be accepted. If you have a team from a previous season (or a B12 side-tournament), you can use that. But you can't use a team from Auld or something.
We currently have a one team per race rule in effect, which means only one player may play wood elves, for instance. Any player currently playing a team has first pick of it in the new season.
The following teams will be available, if their existing player declines to play them: Skaven
The following teams are freely available: Amazon, Elf, Goblin, High Elf, Khemri, Necromantic, Norse, Ogre, Undead, and Vampire.
You'll note Underworld is not there, because I'm playing them in S7!
With new players comes a likely change in format.
If we still have 8 players, we can use either the single group single round robin for 7 games, or a single group, double round robin, for 14. In both instances, the top 4 make the playoffs. The latter is what has been used for the last two seasons. Any preference between single or double round robin?
If we have 10 players, we'll use a single group, single round robin for a total of 9 games. Does anyone have any preference if the top 4 or the top 8 make the playoffs?
If we have 12 players, we can use either a single group, single round robin for 11 games, or two groups of 6, double round robin, for 10 games. The top 8 will make the playoffs.
