I think Toady's catching on to Dwarven optometry - Threw my Dwarves out in the rain, and it blistered EVERYTHING but their eyes :C

I got a ashen cloud that turned everything it touched (and everything that it touched tracked it around, and the tracks when touched, had the same effect) turned into a thrall. it was intense.

A crimson eerie mist which nauseated everything in it. There was a long, green trail as dwarves headed back to the fort.

Vile Slime Rain - instant blistering and short-term dizziness.  After ~2 months standing in the rain, the blistering turned to rot.  After ~3 months, sudden death.  Slightly quicker death for livestock.

NEW.

WEAPONIZATION.

ACQUIRED.

Rain causes all of the Dwarves to blister, they heal incredibly quickly. Raises endurance, toughness and healing rate.
With controlled exposure I can make some incredibly durable Dwarves.

But Loud the effects are not always the same, so training is impossible, unless you like to take huge risks with military dwarves. We need to capture this acid rain and make a moat, OF DOOOM!

An acidic goop moat would be badass.

I've embarked on a point where three terrifying biomes meet, and I've only been met with one rain - on all three biomes. They arrive at different times too :D
I get around 4-18 rain messages every week :P

And I mean, in 2010 I removed eyeballs with FB syndromes, the risk is worth it >:£
Still, no sign of fog or any other rain ;(

I jelly. I want death clouds too :-[

I've only seen red, smelly goo rain that causes extreme pain. Prolonged exposure, naturally, stuns and finally knocks everything unconscious. End result is an embark full of unconscious dwarves and an entire mountain covered in red goo.

Also took care of my giant mosquito problem...

I had a rain which caused dwarves to get a fever, then go unconscious, then start taking wound starting in the limbs, then there were zombie sparrow men.

first serious 34.01 fort had an Evil ash mist that zombified everything that it touched, making my sourface glacier a giant zombie party with 100 attendants. Mostly Goblin ambushes and sieges. It was also highly contageus
I got rid of the ash with a bath right at the entrance. Zombies were moved down very fast by my dodge-me-into-lava-moat trap which got fueled by the magma pipe in the first cavern layer
Abandoned due to new version and lag

Had several harmless blood rains and other filth rains that caused only mild nauseating for a few seconds in the next couple of forts that I abandoned due to boring terrain

I have in my current 34.05 fort an acid that causes a swealling of the whole body, even teeth therefore yellow injuries. It causes an "Sustained a heavy injury lately" negative thought" and vomiting.

And I don't know if it's a part of it but when my militia captain, that got caught in the rain, was fighting some cavern creatures, he was emmiting clouds of miasma and goo into the enemy, just as FB emmit extracts when they attack. I'm supposing that he was having a severe fart diarrhea in the direction of the enemy.

Sounds like necrosis, dose his screen say anything about rotten body parts?

Might just be severe blistering, quite a common syndrome for evil rains
