Dwarves attacking human town?
« on: February 16, 2012, 04:33:46 am »

Okay, so i went down into some catacombs in a human town and found roughly 2000 dwarves. I fought and killed a few before inevitably dieing. Later on I went back to the town and hung around then went off to a necro tower. When I came back I found that some of the dwarves had moved out and went through the town killing off the townsfolk.
So whatcha think, Programmed event or just a bug or something?

Interesting, but I dont think it's a bug.

From how I understand it, sites are inactive while you're away.

What probably happen, when you were in the catacomb, some of the 2k dorfs, leaked out of the catacomb, went to the exit area, when you came back it started up again.

Of course that begs the question of what Two Thousand Dwarves were doing in the catacombs in the first place...

But Elves aren't Vegetarians. They eat people.
So they are humanitarians.

Using the incredibly broken necromancy system I got 800 zombies. I then another 400. and then another 500 or so that i couldn't be arsed rezzing. Assuming that a quarter of those zombies were limbs or something and the amount of the catacombs I didn't explore (my frame rate was low enough as it was) 2000 is probably the lowest estimate.
