From reading about SCP-087, to me for some reason it seems more comfortable than scary. I love dark places and would love to have this kind of thing in my home.

You WANT a dark, endless staircase that makes knocking noises under your house? What would you do with it, other than use it as a Stairmaster or possibly waste disposal?

I'd sit near the top of the stairs and chill. It'd be a nice place to think and listen to my MP3 player, or even play with my DS. I could probably even meditate there or have my meals there if I wanted to.

Alternatively I could keep it as a pet, maybe feed it the useless old people that live in the apartments downstairs that spend all day smoking, shitting themselves, stealing office chairs, and leering at sorority girls while making jokes about yaks. At least then I wouldn't have to fix their TV or help them with their "newfangled devices" or have so many allergy headaches from their cancer sticks that I have to spend an hour in the shower with hot steam every god damn day just so I can breathe.

And then... SCP-087 adapts, locking you inside the staircase, forcing you to go downwards...

Yeah, you don't want to have an SCP near you.

Yeah, you don't want to have an SCP near you.
Not that you have a choice, being that the SCP is located on the campus of [REDACTED] and all.

So I was in a tinychat, watching and somewhat interacting with an SCP podcast with some admins, and Troy (who has some of the best tales in the wiki--check them out!) told us the number of unique hits on the SCP wiki in March.

1.1 million.

Holy shit. Quite a spike. The consensus was that this game caused that. Back when I was first on, it was 2009, crappy SCPs abound, the Fishmonger was doing his big tale...

and now it's much better.

Yeah, you don't want to have an SCP near you.

I wouldn't mind some of them-- I'd love to sit there and play with SCP-914.

I shouldn't need to explain what that would be extremely unwise.

I thought SCP Containment Breach made it way more popular

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

Right. From reading things over, it appears entirely and unrelentingly incomprehensible, unless you already know what everything is, and how it all makes sense, so.. I'ma leave this thread now.

People nowadays expect everything to be fed to them.Anyways i would suggest we use the other thread since the game has been finished and won't see any update anymore. The developer moved on to SCP Containment Breach

914? That one's pretty much perfectly safe, as long as you don't do anything stupid with it or use the Very Fine setting. Hell, I'd probably use it as a huge, really cool chopper most of the time. Celery, carrots, potatoes, onion, chicken, maybe some kale, leeks and parsley... set it to Coarse, then just dump it all into a pot and cook.

Knowing the nature of the SCP, on coarse it will probably poison them.

How about SCP-458 then? That thing can't even produce food normal people can't eat, and its product is custom-tailored to you. I guess it could still be dangerous, in that if you share a pizza, you might end up having an allergic reaction to somebody else's, hot cheese burns, or obesity...
