Nirur how much for your Solar Power tech (components, and all)?
I'll trade my [2.5] of solar cells for [2.5] of your agricultural hub.

But then I have to write that one out. Besides adwarf has quite a lot invested in his hub, what you see is for all stats maxed( Which is more then 10 btw)

Yeah my agricultural hub is worth quite a bit more then just the solar cells.

The trade was about part of the solar cell technology. (2.5) for part of the argi mod technology.

FYI: 2.5= Amount of tech one lab produces in optimal circumstances in 2.5 turns

I know I meant that would set him pretty close to getting it, and its something I don't want to get rid of it.

FYI Your agromodule is about [10.0] or more worth. It's quite advanced. Nothing that stops him from making a less advanced one though.

I intended to start researching that and a water recycling system this turn anyway.

[2.5] of solar cells for [2.25] of agriculture, then. Really, the only reason yours is worth more is because of scarcity, but I still have the best solar cells.

10ebbor10: What's the weight of a computing hub for a 1m hull piece?
Can I just designate an empty piece as storage, or do I need to send up parts for that?

You can just use it a storage, but to get the bonus you need to send up parts.
100 kg for  storage or comm hub.

I'll probably be away for weeks before, during and after summer. Might have internet connection but I'm not sure.

CHASE

The year had finally arrived. Xin Su would officially retire at the end of the year, and unofficially leave the day-to-day running of CHASE in the hands of his replacement starting now. He would spend the year training, and be among the first group of humans to live off of Earth for any length of time.

((I realize that personally performing missions was supposed to only be for people starting with the astronaut archetype, but you've been lenient on letting people other than me use money for prestige, which was originally only to be for lobbyists. If not, treat it as a tourist with a bit of training poking around.))

Shiny New Trait: Scientific.

Research:
Lab 1st floor (Propulsion Expert): XL Safe Thruster safety value.
Lab 2nd floor: Water recycling system for a space station.
Lab 3rd floor (Shaiming Hu): Improve the spacegym's duration bonus.
Lab 4th floor (Specialized for space stations) (Yi shing): Increase the duration of my Large Sleeping Quarters.

Design & Production
Refit my Explorer Mk II shuttles with a docking bay.

Construction
None.

Missions:
I may have slightly over-thought stuff.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Taikonauts:
Train current leader as a temporary Taikonaut using Taikonaut One's training spot (he's apparently not using it anyway.) Leader will retire after he lands.

Other:
Aerospace department investment (year 1 of 5) ($1000)
Release the blueprint for the [0.5] 200kg docking system to the public domain, giving it to all players, and removing it from my research.
Trade with SoHowAreYou: Nanotech [2.0] for my $3000
Trade with adwarf: Agricultural Hub [2.25] for my Solar Cells [2.5]
Pay Kashyyk $2500 for his launch.
Name the station the Mao Kongjianzhan
Use PR on whatever launch my leader's on.
Press conference! $5000

Total expenses: $15,737 + station components and supplies

Alright, a few more questions for you 10ebbor10:
  • Can I deploy nuclear engines in MEO?
  • How long does it take to get to the moon?
  • What other late-game techs are there (that is, can I develop things like fusion power and cryogenic hibernation, or are there still more "far out" technologies that can be developed)?
  • What area do external fuel tanks fall under?
  • What are the effects of the light hull alloy theoretical research?
Also, does anyone want to purchase the services of a LTSEA satellite? And SoHowAreYou, do you want to trade some of my technology for your nanotechnology research?

1. Depends on which type of engine and your relations with other nations.
2. a week
3.You can develop anything that's avguely possible. No warp/jump drives, but fusion is a decent possiblilty.
4. Chassis research
5. When finished he will get a small weight bonus to all chassises
