To be fair, the carpenter, based on the rest of the grammatical structure of the line, did not make the statement, unless he talks of himself in 3rd person.

There's usually a comma next to the artifact, but the texture packs usually get rid of it because it's also the tile for grass. Although 'an' should be there.
