Gabriel leaned back in his chair, then looked at the Ringer. "I assume you are talking about the fiasco caused by our mutual ally, correct?" He brought the front legs of his chair back to the ground. "You want me to cause a little chaos, confuse the authorities." He pulled the cigarette from his mouth, blowing grey smoke into the air.

He feigned hesitation for a moment then said "Deal. I will disrupt police communications, replacing their data with my own. In the midst of this you would spirit him away."

((OOC: I'm living in Australia so expect me to not respond for at least a few hours))

After roughly taking the suitcase and placing it on the ground beside him Ramerez responds.
(Said Sarcastically) "Hmm let me think for a little bit... Ah yes! That's right! There were those two old ladies, the baby and her mum and that guy who looked at me funny."
After a short pause to wait for The Money to finish the call.
"Sooo... Who was that? and what did they say? Anything important, Mister Money?"

'God, that guy is so annoying', LeApertif thinks to himself. 'I can't tell the Lancer what to do until we are secure.'

"Nothing important." LeApertif told Ramerez. He inches closer to Ramerez, and whispers into his ear. "Stop asking so much. We aren't safe until we get to the meeting. Let's hurry up and meet the others."

He grabs the suitcase on the ground, and continues toward where the others were.

"A good, thank you," She replied with another brilliant smile, still swirling her drunk about. Delilah hadn't bothered to show even a hint of concern at his indecisiveness. He would come around-- he always had. And if he didn't, well, she could certainly always just do it herself. It wasn't like she was a stranger to this sort of thing, after all.

After a moment, she stated: "But you shouldn't need to go that far, hm? Simply draw away the media attention, I will handle the rest. Unless there are files you'd like to replace his with?" The final question was accompanied by a bat of lashes and a teasing smile, followed by a gentle sip of her drink.

((I haven't actually read The Call the Money got.))

As Ramirez speeds up to walk next The Money he realizes he has no idea where the meeting is supposed to take place.
"Uh, Money, we are going to the meeting right?  and where is it? I could probably find a faster way without you slowing me down."
He says as a small smile appears on his face.

((Just continuing where we left off.))

"We are going to the meeting, you dimwit, and we're just going to head to the dining floor. That's where they are. I doubt there's a faster way to getting there, barring trying to squeeze yourself in the vents... if you even fit there."

LeApertif was starting to get annoyed by the Lancer's queries. He paces forward, towards the path leading to the dining floor, but he slows down a bit as he thinks about something.

'I don't mind arriving late for the meeting, but I'll eventually need to explain why I'm late, even when I slept in this damned hotel. I'll need to plan what to say and keep myself from saying the wrong things.'

He breathes out a small sigh, and continues onward.

I feel like this shouldn't have died.

This is primarily an interaction driven game with turns progressing the world. The only reason it died is because everyone's on weird or conflicting schedules and I didn't inform people that they should respond. I'm perfectly willing to pick it back up if everyone else comes back.

Same here. Time to resurrect the OOC thread too.

"Yes. There are certain things I would rather the authorities not be aware of." Gabriel responded, with a knowing smirk.

He knew that she saw straight through his "hesitation". Huh. He must be getting rusty. Despite that, he could still easily tell when he was being manipulated, and now was one of those times. It's not like he could blame her. He had some alternate motivations as well.

Taking another draw from his cigarette, he continued "As you know, distraction is one of my specialties. What are we planning?"

The Message
As everyone prepares for the meeting, that blasted ring tone goes off. The Leader's texting again.
"It's time to get to work. You missed the meeting, too bad. I trust I don't need to make your schedules for you."
