From a combination of trains, airships, regular ships and unscruplous carvans seven new soldiers for hire have made their way to ground zero, The City of Cargo. From their enterance one could really see the cities name-sake. Stands both large and small dot the sides of the busling streets, some more wide ranging shops sell everything from hand guns to recoiless rifles from the back of converted personel carriers. Constantly brushing by headed in the opposite direction of the seven are armed bands going out on the job, some ranging from Caravan escorts with a few bipeds to the occasional super-heavy tank laden with supplies. So, You are in the city, What do you do now?

Soon after the discovery of Magite and the ability of some being to call forth elements through the Ether, Many families after testing discovered that they had the ability to Cast and manipulate the ether, in magnificent ways at that also, Many commanders and government officials have seen this power and wanted it to make it their own, study it, But these First Families as they were called were much more clever than that and banded together into Unions of sorts, Guilds as they are called now, and curry much favor with their control over many casters in important positions. They also make frequent advances into the field of array sciences, developing more and more advanced array's but only keeping them to themselves which becomes a point of conflict between other guilds. Many can be found in Cargo due to the proximity of Magite fields and refineries they are often the first on the seen for a new discovery of Magite or sending off their own private prospector caravans.

A continuing symbol of the might of aristocratic or the strong willed, Knightly Orders dot the land to this date. Originally they were the house-armies of the Ellysian Nobles they faded from site as the Cardinals and their Crusaders grew in power. Now they are rarely seen but highty dangerous groups that act towards some type of mission or view of the world or frontier arbitrators that keep the new lands safe and civilized  for some minor gain.
